  1. You should also have it signed off by building control.
  2. Yeah and it's bloody lovely.
  3. I was going to say ultra, you can get bigger cylinders for them. how about an old r10 ?
  4. Very nice, some lovely clear pictures, and the detail is good, especially like the colours on the stone work and the lichen
  5. Fail to see why they should be kept alive, dirty scum.
  6. Agreed, mine are about 15 month old now and had some abuse, still going strong as well unlike most I have had, makes the price more attractive when they last longer than a year.
  7. Not if you get a decent set of neoprene ones, mine hug my legs and no cold air been drawn in, no chance of them slipping off in mud either which is very reassuring considering the places I go.
  8. I had a pair of those aigle, I thought they were the dampest coldest boots I've ever owned. i bought a pair of these muck boots, arctic sport. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017UE5KLC/ref=asc_df_B017UE5KLC48340438/?tag=googshopuk-21&creative=22110&creativeASIN=B017UE5KLC&linkCode=df0&hvadid=208209669357&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5015031867663722850&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006506&hvtargid=pla-336598615667 they are almost too warm. i don't often suffer with cold feet b
  9. Yeah, they soon quite down, I found one a few years back, in a farmers barn, it was wild as hell, spitting, biting, stinking awful thing, it wanted to eat everyone alive, in less than a week it was tame and you could do owt with it, turned out to be an excellent worker. a couple of years on I found out where it came from, it was a lad two villages away, had been out nearly 8 months when I picked it up
  10. What happened to having to be a donator to the site to advertise ? welcome to the site, even if it's only to sell your pups.
  11. You've just reminded me I think I have a tin of those lodged in some back corner of a drawer, couldn't have been much good for me or they would be getting used. My main concern is a solid slug down a choked barrel, skirts have some give, solid slugs won't.
  12. Yeah Biggleswade isn't too far away. what is it in particular your looking to try out ? Or is it just shooting in general ? Everyone starts somewhere, some have more idea than others, I grew up with it, but my mate only got into shooting 2 years ago and now he is well and truly hooked on the sport.
  13. Ha ha, yeah, I did say that day he wasn't very clever ! I think he got focused on the deer and that was it.
  14. I have tried him on the lamp, without great success, he is fast no doubt about it he can outrun them, but he cannot turn, he finds them too unpredictable, he isn't a Lin distance sigh hunter either, he uses his nose all the time and I've seen him run 2 foot from a rabbi and not notice I. The odds were stacked against us as neither of us really knew what we were doing. I was lucky with the car in both respects, despite me offering to pay all damages, the guy wouldn't hear of it or take anything, he was more concerned about the dog, I kept trying to pay for it, but he ju
  15. I need to educate myself first mate, and that's not an easy thing to do ?
  16. If that's correct then I don't agree with that one little bit, I'm no big fan of the hunt personally, but I think the sabs are lower than low.
  17. Who are HSA ? I don't have a problem them supporting police wildlife officers, when you have witnessed first hand Europeans taking large swaths of the countryside away in a few evenings ..... the wildlife officer I met was actually a sound fella and very much into field sports.
  18. No harm in getting it out there, but remember what time of year it is, all gun sales seem slow at present so be prepared for it to be slow moving. have a look at the s10 pages. if you can get some photos I can maybe give you a bit more info on it.
  19. The life in the wild, understanding raw photography and the deer book please.
  20. Depends what comes with it, and is it actually a bull barrel or bull barrel carbine as the carbine seem more sought after, depending on spec you want to be advertising for £450 Bbk. where in the country is he, there is also a dedicated s10 Facebook group that would be well worth a look. ive owned pretty much every s10 going, and still have a few now.
  21. You ain't wrong, I've had a lot of different dog breeds over the years, all have been lab size and up, never been a fan of smaller breeds except maybe a working terrier. I have a Mali now (amongst others), he is by no means the biggest, most powerful dog I've had, far from it, but tell thee what, it would be a good bloke to take him on, he just keeps coming on, relentless, he gets a focus on something and he just does not want to stop, he does not feel pain, I've seen him hit stuff full pelt that would ko most things or people, straight back up and at it again in a blink, i saw him
  22. That's one expensive Turk ! i am sure in your shoes I would be equally frustrated, I think the uk has all hunting wrapped up with no 'free' areas like yourselves, so kind of feel conditioned to just paying for shooting something different in other areas unless lucky enough to get it by invite.
  23. It is very similiar to the swfa ss scope Jon, but I've never had one of those either. yes I think they look decent, and the only one I know of he says quality is excellent, I will know soon as I have agreed a deal on it, just got to decide which gun to put it on now, may look nice on an ed, or cricket, Vulcan, decisions decisions.
  24. They have, but in Russian or something and I couldn't get a word of it.
  25. Understand, but personally would make no difference for me, all my hunting is in one county, and anything outside is paid for shooting anyway.
