Thanks Bn, yeah it's a cracking gun, it really smooth cycling, and extremely accurate, if I wasn't over gunned it would be a keeper, but far far too many at the moment. i priced it good as that's what it owes me, no point been greedy, might help it sell quicker, it will be a bit more when I advertise it elsewhere.

Not a bad Chippy that, had many a munch from there after an all nighter up the aerials or the dirty wall. Must get back over that way, been. Couple of years now.

I've got snowdrops out, and daffs pushing through, sat and watched blue tits toing and froing from the nest box to the pampas grass, they were courting in the poplar tree, we've had vixens calling for weeks now, it's all happening early.

You was up against it to start with mark. the night was silent, not a whisper of wind, it was a little on the bright side, and where you was trying to stalk rabbits you had the horizon behind you so would have been spotted a mile off. although it's Nv, as JonJon said, it still gives a red glow, and don't forget, I'm out shooting virtually every night, they KNOW what that red glow means, hence I told you a lamp would be waste of time, I don't even point the Nv at them until I'm ready to shoot, hence the thermal, they can't see that. with the rats, you just gotta sit and be

You just had an unlucky night, it happens. the quicker you chill out and stop pressuring yourself the better your results will get. but, just to add insult to injury

View Advert Ratworks tuned and regged r10 Selling this rifle as I just don't use or need it (have two already). This came as a px on my wildcat, I don't need or use it so up for grabs. The rifle cycles and shoots faultlessly, I was surprised just how much difference the ratworks tune has made, it has also had a tench reg fitted, the chrono results are very consistent at 11.52ftlb I do have the paperwork to prove the tune and reg work done 8 months ago.at a cost of £200. The metal work is in very good order, the stock is also pretty good, a c

Now that all depends whether the person believes you will drill the holes or not.

The rapid and the s10 are both tried and tested fac rifles, not much to go wrong with either of them, and as already proven they stand the test of time. if i was in your shoes I would be looking to get the s10 on ticket, cheapest option and you know the gun, if your already happy with it why change it ? there are so many good fac guns out there it could be a minefild choosing one.

Cheers, bedford, but get down your way every so often. meant to ask why you hang them from the head and not the back legs, never seen that before.

Looks a good fun day and a nice bag at the end of it, I hate doing hedgerows, but then I don't have the luxury of the dogs like you had. curry looks fantastic, making me drool and I've just had my tea ! talking of dogs, I wouldn't mind a pup out of her, just the sort I want for mooching/ferreting and ratting round my place.

Nice one, glad someone is still getting a few, bunnies on my perms have dwindled right down so leaving them alone until I see them come back.

Really, I would have thought barley straw to be the worst of all of them, bloody stuff itches like hell, I used to hate combining the barley, even when we got combines with cabs you would still itch for days after. same with baling the bloody stuff. i would never let any of mine have barley straw, and I find it just doesn't absorb anything so pretty pointless. shavings in the toilet, hay and/or shredded paper in the bed, and I give them plenty of pigeons, they line the bed with feathers. another thing I have done, put a low down lid in the bed, the bed is mayb

Yeah, we had to stop works and get archaeologists down to check the site, a group of them were there for a few weeks uncovering stuff, they believe it all dates back to the 12th century, found an old stone oven and think it was the site of a great hall type of thing, as I say it was very recent so no firm answers yet, the skeletons were removed and have gone away for carbon dating to give a better idea on age, had they been less than 100 year old police would have been involved as well. this is the brief summary from the archaeologists we had in. Not sure why the kept the skeletons

Remember the fella on here lost his fac and sgc for leaving a magazine in his coat pocket locked in his car....... something rings in my head they expect you to take vital components away from the rest of I, i.e. You can leave barrels and stock or fore end and barrels etc etc. in all the pubs our shoots go in, most of them also take the guns in with them, sleeved obviously.
