  1. And anyone over 5'10'' has to have an elbow out the window to drive it
  2. Your been stalked by a private company trying to find out information on any cross dressing you may have been involved with in the past so they can pass your details to the relevant agencies and sell you sex toys.
  3. Yeah I have one mate, it's in a class of its own, any stray shots are pellet or operator error.
  4. That's nice and tidy, just what I would expect from a hw
  5. I've got a set of them phil, and agreed they are very handy indeed.
  6. She was ready to drop. People don't realise how prolific they breed. A litter can be 13 or 14 at a time, granted that's a large litter. They can reproduce in under 2 months from birth. so, working on the max, 14 young, all female. 6 weeks later all females have a big litter, you didn't shoot one rat, you shot one and potentailly stopped 196 more in the next 2 months. In reality, I would put the figure at more like 50, but either way, am pleased it's gone. I think we need to Get as much time as possible on some targets, stop you pulling the
  7. All I can say, I hate friggin dentists, rather you than me !
  8. Nothing new, we've been having a pair of unmarked apache helos come over virtually every day for 6 weeks or so, not seen them for about a week. one day in particular we had four over within minutes. not a single one had markings, but all were fully loaded, once i got a wave from the pilot, they were so low you could make them out plain as day.
  9. Another vote for the ultra, I have one that's as good as any rifle costing double, and I have some bloody good guns to compare it too. if it's not gonna get used often, keep it topped up with air, the seals let go when pressure drops, same with any pcp's though. all those that jimmy linked are good, but I would also look at the s510 superlite. good lightweight guns. no point buying a bottle if your not using it regular, just don't let the pressure drop much cos it's a workout filling them back up. to give you an idea, I paid £300 a yr back for an ultra
  10. Yes bud. I did mark it as sold on the site, but since the site changed you have to click on 'view advert' to see it's sold, I will try and edit it as well to save any confusion.
  11. How can you say that, I know I certainly would, as would all of my close mates I hunt and shoot with, but I can guarantee you I know at least two people who wouldn't, one of them would more likely go home and get a gun, but certainly not a camera, I doubt he even owns one.
  12. 100 yards on the bull, and 200 yards is a smidgen under an inch holdover, but in fairness, we shot a fox at 207 yards, and aimed dead on, dropped on the spot. you would never have known it was an inch low looking at the ? afterwards.
  13. I know a few folk without a half decent phone, I have one lad work for me who is 21 and his phone looks like it came out the ark ! but generally speaking, the older generation, typically rural ones, don't get all these new phones, I know blokes who don't even know how to text message let alone work a smart phone. my neighbouring farmer has only had a mobile for the last 2 years, and no point ringing it as it sits in the glove box of his car mostly, he can't hear it ring anyway ! i do agree, 90% of the population has a decent phone with a camera, and I also agree m
  14. Everything sounds noisy in comparison to the hw. Not because everything is loud, that hw is the quietest gun you will ever hear, you won't find anything else like it mate. It's had a lot of effort, time and money invested in that-hence why I fanny around when it comes to parting with it. a&m silencers are exceptionally good, but expensive and big ! When you bring your gun over you can try mine on it and see what you think. hugget, well I personally wouldn't bother with one Hw are are good value mod. You would be better off selling your rifle and buying what you
  15. It's not loud, stand 10 yards away from it been shot and you can't hear it.
  16. Your opening a can of worms. As I'm sure you know, there are so many variants of the rapid, the mfr was based on the mk2 block so should be scalloped. yes, from factory the mk1 was not regulated, but as the other post, most rapids have been owned by an enthusiast at some point, so chances are it will have been regged, or possibly fast flowed, the main issue is, almost all the bits on Rapids can be swapped around, the chances are it will be a hybrid gun whatever you buy, everyone has different ideas what's good and worth upgrading and what to leave standard, you may get very lu
  17. 6 rounds to stop a fox, dunno about wrap it round a tree, he needs it shoving up his arse. I can only see a few reasons that could be. pushing ranges too far. was shooting on the fly, moving target Problem with gun/scope or ammo couldnt shoot. ive seen foxes dropped with hmr and .22lr, foxes go down very easy normally, if your set up is right, you can shoot, and are not pushing limits of range, both the .22 and the hmr are perfectly adequate for dropping foxes cleanly and efficiently.
  18. .177 mate but it's provisionally sold pending collection tomorrow
  19. If I ever get that bad, drop one in me as well please, must have been bloody agony living like that, to wear the fur and skin off, what a state. them other two look good, one looks real big, bet you never dragged that very far ! Hows the dog coming on mate, she was just a pup when we were out, sounds like she's getting a good all rounder now.
  20. I had exact same experience mate, top fella to deal with.
  21. Just make sure it's not been home bodged, because they are so easy to work on, and had a reputation as good fac guns, a lot ended up in the wrong hands and were mauled by gorillas.
  22. Mk 1 doesn't normally have a scalloped block for single shot loading, mk2 I believe did. dont worry about it been a mk1, very good guns, and everything on a rapid can be fettled, changed and made better if needed, one of the easiest guns to work on.
  23. You will get there, takes time to relax into it and build the confidence, you also had all new unknown kit you was unfamiliar with, you are a sensible level headed lad with good safety basics, keep at it.
  24. Who ever gets it will be getting a good rifle mate.
