  1. No idea where they keep getting them from, but he has them 24/7. Been using monthly treatments, total waste of time and money on him, makes no difference at all, so I need to find another solution.its just him, the other dogs rarely have them, get the odd one then nowt so presumably the treatment works for them.
  2. This was downloaded onto onto my iPhone with a sim reader, cost less than a tenner and works faultlessly.
  3. Agreed, I'm a pulsar man through and through, and I've owned and used a hell of a lot of Nv units over the years. I also hate those bloody screen type things, like mac, I've spent too long looking through a scope to now sit and watch a screen, and I never liked how your face is illuminated with them, my mate stands out from a field away when using his ! Personally, I would never go back to a lamp, but each to their own. The red glow is a give away, but not as bad as some may think, it all comes down to them associating red glow with been shot, same as been lamp shy, one thing I do,
  4. Feck me I wouldn't know whether to eat that or herd it. looks some spot on grub, the beef market must be under pressure supplying them, where is this place.
  5. 10, isn't it about time you took it seriously.....
  6. So you just mince the whole carcass, and chicken as well ? Do you lot not worry about bone splinters piercing the dogs gut, or do those mincers smash it all up so small it's no risk ? mine get rabbits, and the odd chickens when I can be bothered to pick them but everything is cooked and picked off the bone first. I get a lot of chickens that I pull the breast, legs and thighs off, the rest gets used for fox bait.
  7. I will have a look tomorrow and see if I have any left bud.
  8. Yes mate, how big a piece do you need, I may have some off cuts in my workshop
  9. Instead of using chicken wire, why not get weldmesh, you can get that in the size you need
  10. They make hell of a difference, at least they do on my stove
  11. Similar but I want it a bit more enclosed/sheltered from the elements, with a roof on it, otherwise very much like that mate.
  12. Cheers for the info, I happen to have a couple of spare disc cutters lying around, you keep the cutter revving ? How long before they usually come out
  13. Nice bit of action and keeping the dogs busy. i like the smoker, is it just a chainsaw engine ? Keep thinking about building one. edited to say, just seen it's a disc cutter engine, you literally just pipe the exhaust fumes down the hole and the rats bolt??
  14. Low shot count with the hw100? Get an a&m cylinder on it, pushes shot count right up, but more importantly it reduces front end wieght and puts the balance back into the shoulder, I love mine after converting it.
  15. Fellas, Am looking for some advice or tips, and I've posted it in here as you lot use them more than anyone else. I am in the process of building a high seat, it will be a permanent fixture so not too bothered about the weight, but I do need to be able to move it to site for erection, i do have a forklift to help. I need it plenty big enough for two people, and I have the basic idea of, 1m front to back, 2m left to right, 1.5m tall at the back, and 1.8 at the front, with a sloping roof down to the back. the basic frame will be made from 1inch box as I have a heap of this avail
  16. Bugger, I just got rid of one two weeks back, should have asked sooner.
  17. Nice place, buy it and get it rebuilt, looks like it's got some good views as well.
  18. Can you give a bit more description, what's happening, where are they, where is the coop, what are you seeing ?
  19. Never caught one jok, but I know the nene very well indeed.
  20. Agreed, I have both and they both shoot well. my hw has been fettled a lot so just has the edge. both nice guns and good choice from the op.
  21. Really, your telling me there is a good market for the bloody things lol, not been for a good few yrs now, but my local stretch was full of them upto 6 to 7lb
  22. I used to love eel fishing, we used to catch some good sized ones, many years back we would take them home for the local old boys, they lived em, kept them in a bath overnight, skinned the next day, thems were the days.
  23. Well posted, I've told a few people to do exactly that, most were amazed it could be sorted so easy, then even more amazed how far out from the factory it actually was, total crap in my opinion, hence I stick with the pulsars.
