Sounds quite a variation for a hw mate, I would stab a guess it needs a service and seals. rather than working on ft lb, can you stick the string up showing variation between fps ? I run mine over the chrono and I had an extreme spread of 4fps on a full mag, and 6fps over 3mags, yours sounds a heck of a lot more than that. another way to check, can you fix the gun in a bench vice and see how it shoots, if the gun cannot move, but the shots do, you know it's not the scopeand has to be the gun or pellet.

Depends, what's the area, is it purely for chickens or garden/lawn as well, if it's mixed use, it won't be for long with 8 chickens, they will decimate that in days. Also, are you just wanting a few eggs for yourself, if so, a trio will do you, the idea is great, but you really don't eat that many eggs (usually) so if you get two or three a day, the first few weeks you will eat them every day, then the novelty really does wear off so two or three eggs a day is plenty for a couple, do you buy a couple of boxes a week now ? with 8 chooks, you will be over run with eggs a

Yeah I know someone who got one from Lidl and very happy with it, but think they are just a special, and only available every now and again.

See that's where I don't agree, 'wear and tear' implies it's been used and has wear to the point it does not function properly, i.e., worn out, a bit like me. If something is returned as faulty, suffering inferior material, then I would class that as faulty, not wear and tear. Agreed they don't have to be used often for wear and tear, but it needs to be used enough to be considerd 'fair' wear and tear, otherwise it's classed as unfit for purpose. My point been, how can you say a scope is worn out ? Brake pads-yes, tyres-yes, a garden fork- yes, how does a scope we

It's a good price bud, just unlucky no one in your area wants it or hasn't seen the advert.

Honestly,There can only be a few things,so you have to eliminate them to get a 100% answer. The gun, it's pressure is varying, so give it a chrono and find out what's it's doing, pressure increase and drop will cause poi to move left and right as well as up and down, the pellet travels in a spiral not just an arc. silncer, is the pellet clipping. pellets, presume you would notice and really damaged ones when loading. unlikeley it's any of those as they should cause poi to move in all different directions, but they need to be ruled out. your shooting position, unlikely

Best comment I've seen so far ! And the only good reason to have one. personally, anyone who thinks we have the need for a bridge to France is short of a few shillings change, were trying to get out the Eu, not link up more than we already have, I would blow the bloody tunnel up and flood it as well if I had my way, were an island and should stay that way.

Nah I'd chrono the gun first mate, always pays to know exactly how it's behaving anyway.
-
I don't see how you can possibly put it down to 'wear and tear', it's a scope for feck sake, not a set of tyres or brake pads, it either works or its buggered, my shooting buddy had had a very similiar problem, he would zero it during the day, put it away and it would need resorting again the next day, it seemed even worse when he left it at mine (considerably colder house than his). he spent ages trying to work it out, turned out it was the gun, not the scope my first port of call would be to check it on the chrono

Feck me has that thing got makeup on !!!!!! God it must look bad first thing waking up then.

I've been there and done it, I've stuck to my guns on many occasions and got the contracts and terms I wanted, simple truth is, they need subbies and contractors, if we all held out for proper terms, they have no choice in the end. sure I've lost work because of it, but rather not have shite work anyways, and i get that message across,

Si, you banged the nail on the head mate, he aint pulling the shots, (ok maybe the odd one here and there), he's feeling pressure and adrenaline as he's not done huge amounts of quarry, and he's also not upto speed with how rats react, we all know it's a different world to looking at a paper target. All he needs is more experience, getting out and doing it is what will calm his adrenaline down and chill him out, once he's bagged a few his breathing will settle, his pulse will get back to normal, his nerves will calm, and the shooting will be on target. In an ideal world, we wou
