England Blencathra Supreme Sporting Dog Challenge 2017

I'd like to get to this one. I like a LD show and this one in the shadow of the mighty Blencathra should be an excellent location. -
It doesnt upset me it just pisses me off that the breeding of deformed unhealthy animals for the human ego is promoted by organisations that claim to care for animals.....thats bad enough in itself but putting it on the telly is taking the piss ! Perfect... !!!

Lamping was a bit different back then. For those early pioneers you didn't need a fraction of the power we now use. As for bikes, i enjoy a lamp on my bike early on in the season. I can rip round my local walk in a fraction of the time and so extend my range. Much more silent than boots clumping round and i can belt across a stubble and into gear before it has time to think. Dog loves it too, an all-action night for him! Don't forget though, you can come a cropper dead easy, so always wear a helmet, i've wrapped up a few times now but thankfully only cuts and scrapes so far.

A good line of lurcher to lurcher bred dogs put to a good line of coursing bred dogs, on paper and from ones i know of, that type should/will do whats required. Though if i were to venture down that line, i'd end up with bin licking shite...

A mate of mine is looking for a Beddy/Whippet (type) as a general moocher, as he's not much of a hunter and housepet. He has a couple of great kids, who are mad keen on a new pup, so a good temperament is essential. He's been a year without a dog now and has persuaded his Mrs into another and she likes that grey beddy/whippet(type), which would suit him down to the ground. It doesnt have to be a genuine F1 but as i put of that type. If anyone knows of any litters coming up that would fit the typical type, please let me know. Thanks
