  1. wings are the tastiest part of the bird, the dry rubbed roasted spare ribs are smashing aswell, salted chilli wings are tasty, ever try them with sweet n sour sauce? Or lemon n golden syrup? The 'parsons nose' is the tastiest part of the bird but i can only eat so much arse..!!
  2. I've messaged Tim boner of the CA ... I'm not holding my breath as he is to busy defending the fox hunting fraternity ...... Well played Ken, be interesting to see if they do sommat.
  3. Hahaha Yer mate, our little 'over friendy' young Bobby. Him who shit his pants when after our frisk when you looked toward his car, then all around and asked if he was on his own! He went the colour of boiled shite. He also done the usual and asked if we had any firearms or knives and was told no. He then said screwdrives to which you replied 'of course i'm a mechanic' so he asked to see them and you couldn't find them due to the shite in your car... By then i think he thought he was gonna get filled in and made excuses and f****d off sharpish, the little homo..!!!
  4. Bugger, missed it. More damming footage i'm guessing...? Be interesting to see if any of our 'governing bodies' step up in defence...
  5. I gave mine, from the first copy through, to Strong Stuff. Got sick of the editors bullshit about the BNP and bulling up 'genuine' digging men who always happened to have pups for sale...!!! What i'm gutted about is lending out every edition of Working Terrier and Lurcher magazine. The one published in Wigan in the 80's. Now that was a bloody good mag..!!
  6. Wings were giveaway shite until 20 years ago. Ribs all the way. Bacon ribs, boiled with red cabbage an crusty buttered bread, Scousers call em 'spare ribs'... Feckin fabulous..!!!
  7. Love a conspiracy theory, think most are total shite but facinating none the less. Missed the one last night what was it?
  8. Shot at once (probably over my head as i was running away full pelt at the time) and had a shotgun let off right next to me to kill my ferret and shit us up (which i did!). Came off a field at night to find a very serious landowner(?) pointing a shotgun at us and telling us to clear off.
  9. Or very astute. Getting in the women's good books? TC My thoughts too. Though if it was me i'd f**k all that strongman bollox off an all. Shite tv IMO (though i do like a bit of Sherlock)...
  10. Spot on. The idea is there but it can be done much better.
  11. May 2017 bring all THL'ers great debating and no slating....
  12. What dog did Terry A. have, Rambo or Rusty (or was his lurcher called Rusty)?? I remember him pulling out a load of large photographs of the dog working but they didn't look right somehow and i never fancied a pup off him.
  13. Always wanted a FWB sport... Like Mackem, go on, how much...????
  14. Good intro. Welcome, contribute well...
  15. Nice goin Treehands, if your doin any local to me and could do with an extra mutt, i've got one here, ready, willing and very able..!
  16. Betty is coming on nice mate, 12 week old now. How's the pups that Tony bred at the same time looking ? I like Betty, pretty smart pup and a good name.
  17. Some fine dishes in here. If i'm eating the whole bird, then skinned, spatchcocked, streaky bacon wrapped and on the BBQ, any time of year!

    Man Sheds

Some nice sheds on here, Paul thats a cracker but i'd deffo get the electrics sorted. Katchum if that were mine i'd rarely go home! It's a new shed for me in the new year and its which way to go.... Brick/block or wood, inclusive of dogs or new dog boxes... Its twisting me mellon man..!
  19. I'm with Moja, i'd expect a dig if that age to be feelin it next day, especially if she's not at it constant. If she was mine i'd give her meals a little sloppier a day or so before and i give tomatoes, with tinned sardines, at least once a week but thats just me... If her grubs good then it's just down to fitness at the end of the day and though you can excercise em to death nothing beats running/work fit.
  20. Fecking hell... Your choice to accept a gift and use it for your dogs IMO nothing to do with failure from the maker. Those trigger collars are done by Glyn Jones as well as Bellman etc because dog lads want em, for right or wrong. Personally i think they are shite also, because they are 'designed' to relese easy as they have a trigger clip. I know that working terriers have a tendency to spin and bounce round on couples, causing the chain link to twist and catch the trigger, one small tug of that clip in the wrong direction and your dog is off. So simply put your dogs on 'propper' old sch
  21. Mulled wine drank, just having a drop of rum before the prezzies go under the tree and i nibble the carrot (fecking hell, that sounds like Elton John's perfect Christmas!!) "Halleljah noel in heaven or hell, the Christmas we get we deserve..." Merry Christmas THL'ers
  22. Dead right Fuji, i've seen a couple wrote off for graft only to battle through and live long working lives. Resilient they certainy are...

    Dobermans

Almost all of the ones i've seen over the past 25 years look aged and stiff by 5 years old. As youngsters they all look athletic but tighten up with age. Recon Louis Dobermann would turn in his grave. The only two i ever liked were called Zeus and Apollo..!
