Great actor Brian Dennahey, much underrated IMO. From Semi-Tough through to First Blood a real screen presence. Very sad news, RIP...
  2. I clean my runs down with a product about once a fortnight at most because the dogs are out a couple of times a day and there ain't much mess to clean. Used a fair bit of Jeyes over the years but its bloody expensive, so i find myself being a bit tight with it and i switch to either Zoflora or my usual, poolside cleaner from work, which then leaves me with (and i checked the other day) 5 half cans of Jeyes in the shed.
  3. Never seen a working mule in England in my 53 years. Recon they went the way of the dinosaur after the great wars. Only ones i've seen have been in those 'adventure farms' where people take snot nosed kids to gawp at strange farm breeds.
  4. If your using 'snap traps' set em in a open fronted box, just high enough for the trap to work.
  5. I believe Scouser sired his last litters a couple of months back. The old boy just aint interested in the job no more...
  6. Great nickname for a great keeper, RIP
  7. Recon your 100% there Rickshaw ?
  8. Good lining that should produce the goods. Best of luck. ?
  9. Sad news. Grew up with the Goodies, even though Bill Oddie turned into a tosser...
  10. Had a lurcher given to me about 15 years ago. The kid that owned it was in the Jug and his mother was shit scared of it. It was a half starved mess when it arrived. It's sire was a Scott/Hines 'sports performance' bulldog (a title i've never understood?) And its dam was a greyhound. I'd seen the sire a year or two before and though i dont like em, it was a tidy animal with, i was told, a serious attitude as a guard... This lurcher, when i got it right, was probably the finest example of a bull blooded lurcher i've ever seen. 28", racy and the head of a purebred. I thought this t
  11. Pup should be ready at the end of the week mate. Hope i dont have any issues picking it up, as its a holiday hotspot..! Nope never got anything out of Ox, he was a total dud at lining bitches and i don't have the skills to sort that. A few lads said about straws from him but it never happened...
  12. I will do mate, though its been a few years since i seen him. Had far too many crazy nights with horses and cattle years ago, that i now simply avoid. I've been lucky with regard to sheep and lurchers i suppose but always treated them with caution. Not so much luck with terriers and mutton though but thats for another section..!
  13. Only owned two bitches in 40 years that i'd say were bomb proof with sheep. Thing is i couldn't tell you where there is a field of sheep within 20 minutes drive of here. The odd farmer local puts a few on a field for a couple of weeks a year at the most, they usually come from Wales so the farmers tell me... So no, i never really have much opportunity to fully stock train mine as i'd like. I'm not worried by that either, sure it'd be nice but it ain't the end of the world... I simply avoid fields with sheep in them, always have done. Same with any stock though, i fecki
  14. Not exactly a terrier but she does try to be.... Ronda ?

  18. Jeems, i'm looking for a quality, brown two pronged leather belt. Can you do me something for a standard Jean belt loop (LEVIS) which i'm guessing may be bout 1.5 inch.. Looking for a buckle more understated than your photo too, more like how it looks on the dog collars you posted. Can you pm me a price please..? Ta
