  1. Just binge watched the first two series of Penny Dreadful. It's pretty good, i enjoyed it but then i like period themed film and series.
  2. They worked for me too and what i use most now. I did use a bit of cooked crispy chicken skin and got a result but I did try chocolate and blanked. My Mrs recons i'd do better with Cadburys Chopped Nut but she wont sacrifice any for me to try... ?
  3. Yep, they really are well made... Pleased with mine, once i figured what baits work best. ?
  4. Yep, the game's not about hero's, more about being ninja's... ??
  5. Double bubble...! Must of smelled a bit funky for a while... Funny the way some of em end up when trapped.
  6. I'd change the last line of your post to 'be better at it, or don't do it' ? The real issue is when they confiscate or arrest on the 'likeleyhood' of poaching. It happens and they take from those who wont/cant challenge them on it. Police need to proove he poached it if not on the land. As a kid, the first two times i was caught red handed, we were released and went right to a soliciter who dealt with these offences, as he usually represents those who were prosecuting. We got there first and he got us off twice (with legal aid). Third time we were a bit late out the cells and they be
  7. Fantastic photo Juckler... Right at the start of it all... ? Thanks for sharing ??
  8. You should be happy Ken, thats really nice mate. Well done, onwards and upwards...!! ?
  9. I've heard he's sired his last litter... More for the fact that i knew his dam and heard/read a lot of good about him, both in the field and as a producer.
  10. Taken off a FB site. Catahoula/whippet
  11. Anyone see him run. I believe, looking at past threads, he was a dog that really pressured his quarry, looking to get the job done..?
  12. Thanks Gilbey, just what i'm after... ?
  13. Can you coursing lads give me a bit more information on the coursing dog Scouser, his breeding etc. All i know is he was out of DM's Judy. Also what got him his name in the field and is there any film with him coursing about? Thanks
  14. 100% agreed BH. All she seemed to be was eye candy. Very nice too but give me the real Sharon Tate any day...
  15. Which is just what i was saying, we met him after the National, we'd all had a few and he (and his mate) came for a few pints with us. And on that basis only, he was sound on the night. ?
  16. A few mates said/did the same as you mate. I did think about spewing it once or twice myself but stuck with it and was glad i did...
  17. Watched One Upon A Time In Hollywood the other night, thought it was quite good too.
  18. Met him on the packed train back into town after the Grand National about 12 years ago and he ended up in the Central pub with our lot and he was sound... Loved it! Though i don't usually like his style of journalism. I'm watching GMTV more for him on it. Politicians do run scared of him because he's not afraid to hit back.
  19. Bit off subject but what you said about BH, who owned Bullyson reminded me of my first time in Florida, near 30 years ago. Was travelling round the state by Greyhound bus. Met an elderly couple after he recognised my accent from being stationed near Liverpool during the war. They lived on and looked after about 6 houses owned by millionaire 'snowbirds' in the middle of a golf course and invited me to stay in one for a few days. Which i did. Thing was, it was in the middle of nowhere and about an hours walk to a 7/11 to grab beer & food. So i'm leaving the 7/11 one morning loaded
  20. Nothing more sad than a rescue running dog. Spending the rest of its life muzzeld and harnessed. Fecking rescue up the road from me, full of anti-pricks, who walk these poor lurchers around the local farm tracks, poor feckers will never run free again... Breaks my fecking heart
  21. It does Tank... She was probably i'd guess, at about14 months old when they got her. Not bad nick either, she can be quite giddy and vocal playing in their large garden but other than that, perfect to start. As with most Saluki crosses 'longer runs' are her fortè and she has opened the eyes of the young couple that own her. Gonna get them out for a shine in a few months too ?
