  1. Never bothered with that He's Out Dogging, nor any of them Bluck efforts. Never even picked one up (thank f**k!)
  2. Good photo of a fine lookin dog there Yokel. Named after Jem Belcher... Hows he bred? I never made it to any of Ed's shows. Think, by the riveting, thats one of his harnesses there. I still have one that he made for me... ?
  3. Yer was at that one too, would of been funny to get some photographs from that, it was like the wild west! I remember a couple of scuffles then a bloke jumped up on one of the tables for a better view, which collapsed at one end and sent about 30 pints flying over everyone and it went mental...! ? Moved to the midlands after that.
  4. Had one, Clear Eye too and a mini Blue Eye thing, that was great for bunnies. Those lamps were a revelation in comparison to the car spotties we had before.
  5. I had one too TC, killed some gear with it.. ?
  6. Cheers KD but he's a she... ? And yep, that's her little foxy friend. She had many...
  7. Cheers Juckler. His dam was out of a son of Plummers Wooly Bear to a import pure saluki (thats her on my left) his sire was a saluki/ grey x deerhound/grey. He was a good allround dog and put some gear in the bag. His dam was the best hare killer i've ever seen and her owner was offered four figured sums for her many times but she was never sold.
  8. Photo from the first International WT Match, held at the Welsh GF. I don't recall the year but know it must have been near 30 years ago.
  9. Went up in the loft and found some oldies...
  10. Yep, in the 80's my Mam was a school dinner lady and mine were fed almost nothing but leftovers for years. Think i remember the odd bag of Winalot or tin of Chappie but that stuff was too expensive. Mine dined on what kids didn't like, sliced beef, lamb, faggots, etc, with cheese pie, chips and semolina too. Sponge pudding an custard some days. They feckin thrived on it..! ?
  11. Watched a documentary not so long ago about the gait of the purebred saluki and how it contributes to their amazing stamina. Though i can't remember its name but i did see it a couple of times and it may be on a thread on here. Anyways, was wondering, with coursing dogs having a mix of 'prediminantly' Saluki and Greyhound, would the different gaits of both breeds be seen in individual siblings from the same litter. And, if so, i wonder which gait have the more successful coursers ran with..?
  12. Thirty quid for all them...? Someone should snatch your hand off there, some very good books amongst that lot ..!
  13. Won't make two pages, everyone's got pockets full of permo slips on here... Very legit is the 'ol THL ?
  14. No mate, i'd still add it, right up to 12 months.
  15. Deffo mate, using it on my current pup now. ?
  16. Hate that exaggerated look of those American Bullys... Just the next moneyspinner for the peddlers now that the arse has dropped out of the Frenchies... ?
  17. I'd agree... That was one of SS's early prototypes..!!
  18. All the puppies i've reared over the past 25 years have had Hollings Meat & Bone Meal added to one feed a day. All have done well with it. I was put on to it back then by an old greyhound man, who said it'd give 'substance' to my dogs and i recon he was right... My last whippet... ?
  19. Fed Lidl for years now as a mixer but never had that issue. That said the raw is mostly chicken carcasses. I do notice a difference with beef.
  20. Ray, well played mate. Grand job... ? f**k doin anything else up there pal, you've done fine. If it ain't broke dont fix it...!!
