  1. Bah humbug,,,,miserable old twat,,lol Your right though,, I did recognise one kid,,, the gay gypsy hairdresser,,,,he was on one of them big fat gypsy programs last year  But I stand by what I said... Much better viewing....
  2. Didn't watch it, no point, cherry picked tit's, all wanting to make a name for themselves on tv. As has been said Big Brother Goes Wild... Shite! Bring back Celebrity Love Island...
  3. How did people go from this type of Russel to what's about now, without breeding for looks? there were always that type and the leggy type for well over a century..horses for courses possibly, but the type in the picture is pretty much gone now, while the pretty type just kept getting prettier Nail on the head... Right there for me.....
  4. What's done is done, your call, hope it heals well, wouldn't be my choice, wouldn't put a dog though that but hey, best of luck to you and more so, that dog.
  5. Smack is one shoe I ain't trying on, never mind fecking walking in mate...
  6. Doc Leaf.... Or a massive injection of 'dog the feck up'!! Seriously, I've never heard of anything, nor done anything, some dogs, because of their coat, will be more susceptible than others. Do what I do, just give it a look of 'you daft tw@t' and leave it to twitch, its gone in an hour or two.
  7. Heroin has always been around and it first took off with those swingers in the 60's, the educated types, most of them went down the rout as part of that big wild experiment and its many of those who, with everything in moderation, led 'normalish' lives, plenty, because of education, went on to hold executive positions... It was all a big secret..! Then came the big wave, early 80's, it flooded the big cities. So easily available and so many who didn't have a clue. My friends, tooting on the top deck of the 14c, school uniforms on, whilst sat next to a ignorant public. Crime rates shot up
  8. I like Clarkson and as been said he's simply there to be controversial and he's on our side with hunting. His show has gone down the pan and he needs another vehicle (no pun intended) to really do what he's best at, making folk stop and think, instead of being almost a caricature of himself on Top Gear.
  9. there's one up the road from me thats got to be in with a shot at that title... Couldn't catch a hare in a telephone box but what a randy bugger, it'd feck the crack of dawn if it could get up early enough...!
  10. That buffalo leather makes the best leads IMO, far better than bridle leather. Super strong, durable and soft, with a slight elasticity. Anyone want to make me a lead out of that, drop me a pm, money waiting.
  11. These days I much prefer a glass of good red than anything else but i'd never drink wine out, so these days I'm mostly at home with my vino. I still, whenever possible, enjoy a good pint of cask in a real pub and there lies the problem, where I now live what were once village pubs are now foody gastro chain shite that, although still serving cask, don't want you stood at the bar supping it. The bar is for ordering food...! The name stays the same but the pub, on the inside, looks the same as all the other chain pups all over the country, devoid of atmosphere, fun and drinkers! Anoth
  12. If its readily available, easy, cheap and most importantly, your dogs constantly look well on it, then feck whats on the packet, or where it came from and feed it...!
  13. Loads of interesting places I'd like to see still and i'm the same, I'd like to do a stint in Canada too BUT I knew an old lady years ago, she's long dead now. Old money, very posh but not a bit stuck up about it. I'd just came back from my first trip to America, age about 21 and was telling her all about it and talking holidays and fantastic places in general. She asked if it was a day or night flight and I told her it was day, she then asked if the weather was good on take off and I replied it was. Her next question was, "From the air, which looked better, the fields of Cheshire and England
  14. indeed i love it..i like very much how a lot of the interveiws and men from it are in egremont ( imo the home of the fell and lakeland!) its the small town ive lived in my hole life and theirs still a few boys about and their lads i know well in that book...seen one just this mornin..infact i think i gave him a £200 donation for charity! so i must be in a good mood That's good to know PK, would that one be the son of the most obvious one?
  15. Brilliant stuff Paul, as kids we did the same. My Dad worked on a land fill site and two leverets came up in the bucket of his machine. The whole area was going to be tore up so knowing the Doe would loose them, he brought them home. Me Mam really did all the work, I was only about 10, feeding from a little glass dropper until moving on to a bottle type thing as they grew. Funny though how unafraid and tame they first were, then even after loads of handling getting wilder and wilder in a matter of weeks. I remember taking them to the edge of Altcar estate, cardboard box on my knee in the car
  16. I don't think he left 'em out, more got ran out, of their home's....
  17. Big stink on about it in Leisure too. Woman was stopped (can't think what center) from feeding in the pool... Feck me, if you can't wait the 10mins or so small babies are in the water until you get back to the changing rooms, then don't bring the child till its on solids..! As much as I'm all for breast feeding I do think some women flaunt the fact that they can and should. The other thing that gets on my wick is the women who don't tell you they are going to feed, start adjusting their top whilst your both talking ,all innocent like and then wham, look down to bab-on-tit!! Ain't half a co
  18. I think, though, if a fellow digging man had have done that book it would have easily made two volumes and there would have maybe been more stories. But, as it stands today, many years later, it still is a good , historical read. those times and those men can never be repeated.....I wonder how many in it are still alive and kicking? I think if a fellow digging man would have done it, the book would not contain so much on people who bred for the show bench and we may have got Brightmoor, Gouldy and one or two others but I do think it's none interview chapters would not be as good or the de
  19. Flawed yes but as a whole, a work of brilliance.
  20. Funny old thred this one but to answer what I think maybe the question, NO, never have, wanted, or felt the need, to use another dog in bringing a pup on, don't want or need my pups to watch, run with, or any fecking thing with any other dog, I just see it as more of a hindrance than a help. If the dogs ready, the dogs ready and if it ain't I simply wait till it is and if you know your pup, you know when its ready. There was one quarry that I did give a first timer a go with another dog for the first few times, foxes but that was pre-ban and as soon as a youngster showed me what it could do o
