For Jock of the Bushvelt make sure you watch the original SA version and not the later Disney type film. The first was so gritty they had to make it again..!

i seem to remember a pitbull fighting a bear in that film, is that right? There is a scene with a bear and dogs but i cant remember if it was a pit bull. :hmm:Long time since ive watched it Old Yeller?? Yeller was a 'black mouthed cur'

Owend a few collie crosses, of different types, over the years and none of mine ever stalked but i've seen plenty that do. Like the mutt i have now, with a massive dollop of collie blood running through him, the ones i owned were fit and full of themselves and would bust a gut for gear. They aint for everyone and need someone that suits the type. A mate of mine has a skulking, sly, wall-eyed merle bitch now that punches well above her weight, all collie cur, she looks at almost everything that moves as potential prey, people included! She's full of herself, almost supremley confident in

Nice, like to see dogs with the sun in their backs in the summer and always feel for those in kennels almost never allowed to feel it.

A lot of Bullxs about wont have stafford in there makeup or not the kc type anyway,and there temperament can be different. My two were not k.c , more bred along the old lines athletic and in proportion .I'm in no rush to get a pup straight away anyway , I'll keep my eyes open and try and find a good line bred bull X from tried workers Good call, just bring it up as any other type of lurcher, because thats all it is, a lurcher, too many folk thinking they are somehow different and bringing them on different and missing out on a whole lot of work and fun because of it!

Viking & Celtic origins but all Scottish through history. My great grandfather was a Scot. My mum was a Jones and her family in history heralds from Wales, her great aunts and family were all Welsh. So almost all Celt for me, with a drop (though i doubt) of Viking... But ya know what... First and formost I'm Scouse, born in the city centre and couldn't be more proud of that.
