  1. Looks like the Russians have just gone apeshit in the stadium...
  2. Just a classic case of not taking your chances, a goal or two in the first half would have sealed it but i thought we played well enough apart from our finishes. The only weak link for me was Sterling... Shite! Rooney i thought was inspired in midfield and its not a problem for me that he didn't bring Vardy on. If Lallana, Cain or Rooney had have scored in open play i think it would have made a difference in confidence.
  3. The older i get the more i know that there is no such thing as 'bad feet', not in looks anyway! Feet come in all shapes and types due to the different crosses that are in our dogs. Some of the best dogs can have feet that damage easily and some of them started off with perfect toes, its a pain when thats the case but if your dogs that good what ya gonna do... And then there's the ones that feck up because they usually have an unfit dog attached to em... No excuses there!!!
  4. Sure a collar can get caught up in a hedge but the chances of sommat fatal are slim. Dont forget how tough a dogs neck can be and how a sensible, seasoned mutt will adjust speed as it approaches and goes in on hedges. More chance of it loosing an eye or breaking its neck with a full on blow, both of which has happened to my dogs. Never had a hedge collar snagg. I've seen those gypsy slips a few times mate, they are a crackin, little used gem. Never learned how to do it though.
  5. What sort of year and model you looking at Bosun? You heard much about their reliability and repair costs? I've looked at the Mazda 6 Estate myself, the 2.2 top spec, you got a lot of toys for your money. Leather, Sat Nav, Bluetooth you name it. And at 170 horses should have a bit of poke. I just haven't heard much about them, good or bad. Looking for a 61 or less Gaz, a 2.2 TD, full speck would be the ideal as i want to get over to the continent. As far as reliability goes, from what i gather its no different than a Ford, which it really is. But as i said earlier, you get a lot of car f
  6. No no no no.... Dont anybody get a Mazda6, they are shite, i was talking bollocks earlier in the thred... deluded, thats it! Take it from me, steer well clear of them Mazda 6's... (Till i get mine!!)
  7. Yep, gut for me too. Better to go with that than spending years wondering what if... Whatever decision you make, make it and never look back. I know you know but put all your efforts into your choice and feck whatever else anyone has or does with their pups. "Thou shalt not covert thy neighbours mutt"...
  8. Lol @ Walshie... Nice prezzie...
  9. I think its the Avensis 2.2 that has a chain cam belt, always a plus. Passat's, A4's are great but pricey. Octavia's like Avensis's are coveted by cab drives and it makes em hard to get decent ones and drives the price up. Mondeo's have really improved, especially the buisness class and are worth a look. Me, i'm in the market for the same now and i'm gonna go for the Masda 6, you get a lot of car for your dollar with these...
  10. What a cracking shop, good stuff Morton, thanks for putting that up.
  11. I think you said it right in the middle of that post, "the rest of the world rely on tactics and flair".Nope, we stifle flair and are only rarely seen playing tactical football, especially going forward... In those warm up games, even if the players change, the/our tactics should remain, we should be playing in a style that is obvious, with only 'some' changes to suit certain opposition. Sadly Woy, like almost all the FA puppets before him, on the eve of a major tournament, still has yet to make his mind up on both his best team or his teams tactics.... C'mon England.. C'mon England...!!
  12. The importance of good bitches to improve stock is huge, not only in a line but in general. I honestly believe many breeders/hunters just 'dont get it and i've preached on the subject for years... Thing is, i should have practiced what i preached 12 years ago and my line would never have ended....

Rhyl makes Blackpool look like Vegas...!

    Blackpool

Most traditional seaside resorts have a whiff of despare and decay about them and its that what brings down the standards and the prices and brings out the trouble BUT when all's said and done its what makes them appealing to us, part of their charm. Personally, i like Blackpool and my favorite little speck is The Sun Inn, on the road parallel to the front, near the south pier. Propper boozer, just as they should be.
  15. Savlon & germoline should always be part of a basic first aid kit imo
  16. 'How hath the mighty fallen....'
  17. The bloke that owned it told me there's houses on it now... That's what I thought too. Has he still got the shop up the road? Think he's got a couple of shops, one in his old neighbuorhood and then there's his 'mobie'...
  18. The bloke that owned it told me there's houses on it now...
  19. Cob is only reffered to as in being in bad mood or angry, like 'i have a cob-on'. My favorite, when my Bexley Heath mates come to the city, is when they are asked if they want sommat like a ham 'barm', meaning 'barm cake', which is a floury bap or roll. The look on their faces when they try and compute their ham on some sort of cake is priceless...

    Your Kids.

Like Kay i never grew up in a hugs & kisses family, none the worse for it either! Though i'm a big hugs & kisses man with both my wife and daughter, it's lovely..!
  21. 'Roll up yer Echo' Referal to packed terraces at football. When you couldn't get to the toilet, so rolled up your newspaper and peed down that. Often done on the Kop at Anfield, which is why Evertonians say Anfield stinks of piss....
  22. 'E couldn't stop a pig in a jigger' Jigger = back alley Referal to someone who is bow legged, or a player that has been nutmegged in football.
