  1. I've always said you need to drop a couple of drontals
  2. Found some free grp sheet pieces so botched it on tonight after work, need to decide what length overhang to give it on the front and trim it off then fix it on properly along the front edge. Nightmare with wonky offcuts and the fence I built it off is pissed too.
  3. Sorry lads it's a kia ceed 13 plate. It's sound in the winter and good on fuel etc but when it's warm I could torch the fecker
  4. A split pipe could possibly be a thing? The pipe could be more pliable when it's warm allowing more of a leak?
  5. Is there any diesel mechanics on here who know much about maf sensors and rough idling problems? Basically my car idles rough when the weather is warm, fine when it's cold and everything points to a maf sensor problem, unplug the sensor and it goes normal. Tried a new sensor and it's worse. It's had the throttle body and egr and loads of other stuff inside cleaned by my mate. When it idles rough there's an exhaust smell in the car, decrease in fuel consumption and sometimes juddery to pull away. Any ideas? Cheers
  6. Nice little walk with the youngest brat. Hopefully she is getting over her fear of dogs now but this flighty little bellend doesn't help things.
  7. I will do yes mate. I've looked on marketplace etc and there's none close at the moment, I might end up using the corrugated plastic instead because it's cheaper but it's fragile too isn't it.
  8. Mesh is on just need to find something for the roof now. The tanalised timber cost me less than 40 quid and the mesh is what I salvaged off the old aviary panels so it's been cheap up to now but I was quoted about 50 quid a sheet for the grp roof sheets which is too much for me.
  9. This years pouter chicks. The dad is an old bird and has caught me plenty of ferals and the mum is decent, regularly dragging racers away from their kit so hopefully they will turn out well.
  10. Sad to say it mate but I agree with you. Used to see reds regularly around the estate at work and out on the moss but there's greys everywhere now like a plague. I've seen them out in the middle of big fields with no trees or hedges around.
  11. Looks quite neat for a sparky there mate, when I was a kid plastering it was my job to go round fixing all stuff like chases etc when a spark had smashed them all over the place.
  12. That looks a lovely spot to change a track ours normally come off in a bloody swamp
  13. The old keeper on here had some home made ones that you just dropped a cartridge in there was no requirement for it to be a blank Same person had lines with fishing hooks on at head height and sharpened sticks in the ground on an angle to waist height in the past and christ knows what else. I heard of someone jumping a ditch into a wood in the dark and landing on the prongs of a pitch fork too.
  14. Need to fasten the mesh onto the front, paint the concrete panels and find something to cover the roof properly now.
  15. He's done well to keep a rough coat with only 1/16th terrier in there. A lot of 3/4 cross are smooth coated
  16. Always loved the look of the beddy whippets but the risk of a pup turning out tiny put me off with our fast ground and jet propelled bunnies.
  17. 2800 for them few? Christ I'm in the wrong bit of the tree industry
  18. The beardie cross thing I had would have nailed an intruder no problem, other crosses I've had wouldn't have batted an eye. My borders have all been useless guards too but the russel would have tried his best to hurt someone.

  21. Would your spaniels guard if they were in the house Born? Most thieving scum are deterred by the barking of a dog rather than the breed of it and all dogs can be taken out if they really wanted to. This spaniel of mine sounds like an alsatian and can hear a mouse fart at the front of our house. If you were to go down the shepherd route then look into it carefully, some lines are calmer than others. I know someone who trains and sells family protection dogs too if you were after buying a ready made one.
  22. Up until recently one has been in the local park and I saw a video on Facebook of it taking a full grown duck and it didn't seem arsed about people either. It was only a matter of time before it had a run in with a kid or dog so it's a good thing it got shifted.
  23. Exactly what I was thinking mate, people expect deer to be the size of horses don't they so I would imagine they think roe are tiny. Starting to get fallow here now too and more otters.
