  1. Feck that. We use big canes up to 15ft at work and they can randomly snap and have plenty with weak spots so sod relying on them as scaffolding
  2. There doesn't seem as many geese to me this year but I've not really been out for a look at the wigeon situation. Still waiting for an invite off my uncle to go out on the marsh I've not been for years. Permission wise its all taken up by shoots isn't it and the rabbits are practically extinct now too. I'll just keep to my couple of bits and invites, I used to go on the closest shoot but I'd rather be a vegan than have anything to do with the keeper on there he's the biggest prick I've ever met.
  3. Didn't realise you were that close mate
  4. I've still not braved a shoot day with the mental little shit yet just a few wanders out with my mate and on our own mainly. I work Saturday morning too.
  5. I know mate I just dislike them grilled, raw are fine and tinned are lovely but not inbetween.
  6. The beans are alright but them tomatoes should be on a salad where they belong
  7. When i say getting lost i mean intentionally and sold on
  8. They do provide stuff mate but its the basic stuff like screwfix etc sell and I don't blame them either as expensive stuff would be getting lost left right and centre. We get bekina wellies nowadays which are a mile better than the shite we used to get.
  9. I've found wearing a hi viz vest over the top of a jacket holds the water on it and encourages leaks. There's some proper looking ones on the link that Borr put on but imagine paying over 300 quid for a coat to find out it leaks like a 30 quid jobby I'd be gutted. Does your mate on the rigs get any more???
  10. Proper coat preferably mate, out in the shite digging trees up all winter ain't good on any clothing so a thin shell might suffer.
  11. Out of interest any of the lads on here who work outside on the rail or ground works etc recommend any decent hi viz waterproofs? The ones we get given and the types you get from screwfix are pretty poor. There's some police goretex ones on ebay but its a lot to shell out if they're as shite as the ones we get. Cheers
  12. Could be the mothership returning for him?
  13. I know mate but I'd like to think i could make people leave me alone with the way I am but that doesn't work on family I live with 4 women it already is a nuthouse
  14. Quarter of a million and a years peace and quiet sign me up
  15. 19603 it doesn't tell you the rate its falling at though.
  16. I've seen a few cinnamon type ones and have seen pics of pied ones in the wild too.
  17. Some of the good bits too though I'd imagine. If these things didn't run around like idiots they'd be able to smell better.
  18. The missus and kids will be out trick or treating and I'll be doing the usual, sat in the back of the house watching YouTube while the front of the house is in darkness so no tw@s knock on
  19. Edinburgh and Glasgow there used to be a lot of doo men, even shops dedicated to it up there.
  20. When Billy has been here on his videos talking to addicts etc the ones I've seen have all been from out of town, it’s turning into a shithole though along with most towns in the country.
  21. Voorburg and horseman are very similar birds in their temperament I think. Plenty of horseman around but the Spanish types are harder to get hold of.
  22. This is the way the Scottish guys fly the doos. I keep a more Spanish/cuban type of pouter and fly mine for ferals Like this kind of type
  23. I think its a pigeon term all over the place but I dunno why they don't just say settled or homed?
