Are you lads using torches to shoot with or just find what you dropped? Switch a torch on in most of the woods I've been in and not much hangs around for a shot. -
The area I live has practically no livestock so you can't just go round barreling peoples dogs, there was a keeper locally who shot a gundog off a neighbouring shoot and he got away with it because it was in a pheasant pen killing poults (so he said) otherwise he would have been completely in the wrong.

Legally over here the dog has to be in an enclosure actively worrying livestock to be shot is that the same over there?

Fac air rifles seem to sell cheaper than non fac and I'm pretty sure once you have converted it to fac there's no going back. Personally I would keep the non fac you already have as it is and buy a new fac one.

Mine are either from work or punching stuff pissed/bad mood except for two I have which are getting hit with a razor sharp marshalltown skimming trowel and getting slashed with a stanley knife trying to untie a lad who had been tied up as a prank,I should have left the prick there.

I know yeah I've definitely had my moneys worth out of them and it's a windy spot where I live too. My mates little brother has started up a panel building business so should have some new ones this week and hopefully they last similar.
