    Isn't it only certain types of woodland where you can find them like old beech woods or something? It shouldn't be too hard a thing to teach a dog but I doubt the same dog could be used for hunting.

    I'd keep it in till it's proper jabbed up mate by that time it will be a bit bigger and better equipped for a walk. 9 week old pups don't need walking.

    My old dog bounced off allsorts over his career but the worst he ever did was break a nail running on a track and chip a couple of his canine teeth striking bricks on the way out to squatters. He hit my car flat out, ditch banks, trees etc etc and shook his head and run off but that first plough at 6yr old finished him off. It seems to have been night after night of lamping weather since he died too to rub salt in my wounds.

    Have you tried deben vin? Leather ones should fit too though I'm sure lads were replacing the nylon collars with leather as they thought they stayed on better.
