  1. I'd say it depends on your accuracy and the weight/speed of your ammo. If you hit a pigeon in the head with 12ml lead at speed it's coming down.
  2. Acorah isn't harmless when he's behind the wheel of his car the pissed up old twat.
  3. Is it a new bag of food their not keen on? My old dog would eat a bowl of shit (literally) but one new bag of the usual brand and he wouldn't touch it? Are all your dogs male and is there an in season bitch they can smell nearby?
  4. Weren't the proper greyhound ferrets meant to be decent sized and strong as well as long bodied? Nowadays it seems to be the smaller ferrets that get called greyhound? I had a really long powerful poley jill off a local bloke for a brief spell and it has to be the fastest ferret I've ever seen, only problem being it was scared of the dark and when she sprinted it was off across the wood away from the hole.
  5. Minced chicken, I might go for the necks too but not sure on the bone/meat ratio.
  6. If my pup growled at me for that he'd be dragged out the crate and out the door before he knew what's hit him.

    Dog Kennel

I've tried barrels in the past and the condensation did my head in, I ended up drilling loads of holes in the bottom of it and putting a ply floor in above that so the dog wasn't lying in the damp but still had problems with it so got rid.
  8. No mate you don't have to ring mules. Your better of using a goldie cock than a greenie if your going to be wanting to sell the young though.
  9. Is the goldy in the cage with him?
  10. Any other lads after split rings go to a kids toy shop and buy hama beads then cut the split with a craft knife. Thousands for a couple of quid and any colour you want.
  11. What like all the lurcher chat and hunting exploits in this bit and the plodding arabic type dogs in the other section?
  12. I'm after getting some pairs of colour canaries this season I've knocked the muling on the head. I'll pm you.
  13. Pro's, quick and able to turn well, nice temperament and handy size for round the house . Con's, some don't like the wet, can potentially open up, tear easy, might end up too small.
  14. A shite sight better than jigsaw by the sounds of it
  15. If I'm feeding mince and biscuits I feed 1/3 to 1/2 of their daily ration meat. Id give a fattier mince too with the pup mate.
  16. I'm currently trying to start pigeonery but my pouters aren't playing ball.
  17. Tie a long line to the things you thrown then you can give them a twitch to encourage the pick up?
  18. Depends on your ground mate, some lads swear by beddy whippets but small dogs can't do it on the big flat fields round by me. I'd say 24 25 would do ok in all areas.

    Firsts

I was sat in the car at macdonalds this summer eating and the sheppies come scavenging around us as they do but I'd never heard one impersonating a siren before. The missus wasn't as impressed as me.
  20. Silver, some of the best I've had were silver.
  21. I had one that would work like a demon calm and gentle as fec in the court/cage try picking her up while working and say bye to your hand  As above some are just wired wrong.. Had a few like that kie and they aren't here now ?
  22. Nowt wrong with buying them after 1 post it's selling them that's bad. Could be the lads first dog.
  23. Northern tool I had one from but you still have to chop them up a bit and if your doing a few regular you can cancel your gym membership coz it's not the easiest thing to do.
