  2. Just remember mate lamping pheasants from their roost is illegal, so dont get caught lol Silhouetting against a cloudy sky is legal though and a lot more effective than shining a lamp round up trees
  3. they must be different to what i got... because these are shiit.... useful for decoration.... These are Fit4Life brand stretch bands with a pic of a bird doing exercises on the box?
  4. My polymorph turned up today so had a bit of a bash at making a catty. I'll give it a try tomorrow and if I don't like it I'll melt it down and try again.
  5. The Asda bands I bought are decent enough. Check out the video of gamekeeper John chronoing them on YouTube. I've been mucking about with double blue bands and their powerful and lasting well so far.
  6. Same here. The one we've got outside certainly was when a buck went in with her.

  9. Sorry to hear it mate, had mine kill himself at the start of the season so my seasons fecked this year.
  10. For the small price of a jab is it really worth not doing? Imagine after years of training and bringing on a dog it starts shitting blood and needs to be pts and you need to do it all over again (but can't coz the disease is now in your kennels). It's only about 40 quid for both jabs at our vets and that ain't the cheapest.
  11. Yes but can really bring out the collie if it was the bitch that carries the beddy.
  12. Bought this on aswell To breed pure whites you have got to have pure whites on boths sides Cloud above is not out of 2 pure whites, so put 2 a pure white cock could throw all coulors, the more you put white to white, the easier to breed pure white. But you still get colour birds come out. going to find some top cocks to put to them Is that the savings all gone now mate buying them? I was at garswood yesterday meeting a guy at the racer auction there and the lads were saying how much the birds had fetched at one of the last auctions :0
  13. What's the biggest "genuine" first cross beddy whippet you have seen?
  14. Did you just get the one to put with your best cock mate or did you get a few? If you breed a white with a blue do you get more whites, grizzles or blues?
  15. I broke it already, broke my mates one made out of that shitty recycled plastic stuff too. The wood went along the grain in a clean break and the plastic went between the colours. I'll give the polymorph a try when it gets here.
  16. We tried it with my old terrier and my brothers rc car, their a bit too expensive for chew toys.
  17. They still make and sell duramitex but apparently it's not the same as it used to be?
  18. Found a good hardwood plank at work yesterday so knocked up a catty this afternoon. I made the band's too with the Asda laccy and an old black widow pouch, they're a first try too but they bloody work well with lead balls. I've made a lead mould too out of a hardwood block it's not the best but it works. Any pointers I can improve on? Cheers, gnipper
  19. It's only a couple of quid on eBay though and after watching a long vid of a bloke knocking up a sheet of hdpe it's worth the couple of quid to not have to do it.
  20. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a catty out of polymorph so did a quick Google search which came up with this I would say that was a bit ott but the basic idea is good I think, no sanding or sawing and just right for your hand.
  21. It's all well and good being a hard man but nowadays you got to be bullet proof to go with it. My cousin wasn't
