    At £ you could but 5-6-7 times. There is loads of cheap chainsaws about now. You could even go for a cheaper well know brand, something with a plastic body, if it doesn't get chucked around. I use Shtil myself, you don't mind when you can claim for it.

    I don't believe they use barbiturate injections to put deer to sleep, a bullet is much cheaper and more available. There are two men local to me that are called out to RTA deer, they both use .22rim fire. Put it this way, it has never harmed me . Edited to say. Surely it's illegal to leave a large poisoned carcase on the roadside.

    Chin up mate. Quickest way to get over a dog is to get another one. Just like women! What was wrong with him?

    My friend had a terrier that would fetch stones from about 4-5'. It would almost drown itself chasing ducks and diving after them. Also had quite a few incidents with Geese etc. To be honest it were a nuisance. Was that fish in a swimming pool? Poor fecker was probably on its way out, can't see a dog being able to grab a fit healthy fish, especially a cat fish.

    Sorry to here your news mate. If a vet advises to pts he's not after your money. It's quite often the ones that will offer to give them a bit more time.

    Thing is if you go and have a look at a pup, you should know some background of the parents. This is where your "stock sense" should start but with a lot of things in the dog world it's never guaranteed. I personally have never had a duffer, but I've seen a few and a most of the have been acquired with little or no family history. Did you know the parents of this pup?

    One chick has hatched in the Robins nest in the wood store. Does anyone know how long between eggs hatching? I'll check on the other nests when I get a mo.

    Use it to teach the children about guns and gun safety, that's about it. Not fare to try and kill something with it.

    And you said they wanted a decent gentle type? I think that may keep them on their toes and what about the non chasing of cats? If I'd of had a suitable dog, I'd of been happy to let you have it.

    Have you tried crate training him, may be for a couple of weeks, limit his exercise. It works if you can let out often and keep it quite .

    Dogs that are hyper sometimes don't hold weight. Got a couple of pups here I struggle with. I find shorter more frequent walks are better and I've had to kennel them separately, as they bundle all the time.

    Try and feed it a few times a day. Tripe and a good quality puppy meal, seems to do the trick for me. If you give it the squits, miss a couple of meals and start again with a lesser amount. The tripe make them gorge a bit and decent puppy meal is pretty concentrated. How much exercise does it get?

    Nope, he can even keep a good edge on his knife, so I've heard.
