  1. An annoying thing. If you're stuck for money and can't ask everyone, then that could've been someone else spot. I don't know how she has the front to invoice her though, must be Scottish. And feck knows how it made the news.
  2. My shed door looks like a SS shop display. I've had 26" Mastiff collars down to 12" whippet collars and all the sizes in between. I've had training leads, tracking leads, agitation harnesses, slip leads, custom couplings and a whole range of made to measure collars. The only thing to ruin SS stuff is dogs teeth! This I've learnt the hard way, numerous times. With regard to the collars being to big and heavy, you just get them made in lesser thickness say just 3 ply. The fittings come on brass or steel depending on you preference. You can have what you want, you ask and pay for it, Stron
  3. Can't go wrong with a decent slim chopper machete style business. Something you can chop, dig, pry a bit, maybe a bit pointy for making holes and the like. Could be used to make a splint, tough enough to make a spear with. Flat'ish grind, forged from 5-6mm down to 3-2mm and about 15"-18" long? What do ya recon, any good?
  4. Chickens will eat chickens if they have to.
  5. Love lamping, but love day time more, especially bushing/mooching. It give me a chance to get involved more, gets the senses going.
  6. If you were closer mate, I've always got spare. Here's to a speedy recovery.
  7. After all, that's what Ferrets are for.
  8. That Blackthorn is Bramble and I could of rode my bike through there
  9. 75lb-150lb of trout per acre depending on water quality. If you have 16' and decent flow as you said then you'd be ok in the summer. You will need a section 30, Water as small as that I wouldn't mix a large number of trout with coarse fish, especially Carp. Unless you are near large bodies of water, Cormorants shouldn't be a problem. They are easy to shoot if you can get near them because they take ages to get airborne. Unless you have security, I wouldn't open it to the public. Anyway that water hasn't really got a selling point, unless you stick in some monsters and th
  10. You do some great stuff, but some of your work looks like it could do with a brush. I not feeling this.
  11. Not waterproof but tough as, Carhartt.
  12. To be honest the didn't look like they needed much feeding and the food didn't look that appetising. I feed my dogs like that from time to time just to make sure they are ok and then I stand right over them not giving them an inch just in case. I wouldn't allow any young children to feed a number of dogs.
  13. Thinner nets catch better, tangle better and snag better. You have to come to a compromise. Poly spun seems to be the best choice nowadays. I like 8z, but I think it depends on the ground you hunt. Always hedgerows, ditches and woods round here, well snaggy.
  14. Received my catty today and I must say what a nice little catty, well finished, couldn't of done better myself . Perfect for the glove box, cheers.
  15. You'll be lucky. I only know of two and only one of them is working. Most use Pointers these days. I hope I'm wrong.

  17. Also if you can unhook them without removing them from the water, all the better.
  18. A rod is the most efficient when at right angles to the fish(not the water), simple case of physics. It's down to the angler to make up tension when a fish runs at you. Northern lad you're right about summer time Pike, So many people think that Pike are indestructible when they are quite venerable, especially in the summer.
