    In defence of my post, I meant nothing but light hearted humour everyone always gets carried away on here, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Personally I wouldn't want my dogs to kill such an creature and if I was quick enough I wouldn't allow my dogs to kill it. What's the deal with time lapse photography?

    Give it a good brush, it looks like a dirty scrapyard hound. If you don't get any interest it may be kinder to put the poor bugger to sleep. Free "guard dogs" can often be given a raw deal, with little attention or stimulation, not ideal for mans best friend . I do hope it finds a decent home.

    Unless your out most days don't get a Spaniel just for that. Get a long stick or a smoke bomb , or as Whipstar says leave im be for another day, I wouldn't get a dog just for that job, it's not enough work for any working dog,

    No worries, just asking. What are you looking for in the sire to add to your line. Is there good working homes lined up for the pups (gifted to fiends obviously) so you can follow their progress? I really like these dogs, don't know much about them, other than the price, hence my initial scepticism. And there was me thinking Cat A was a right off

    I've seen some rotten hunting tattoos, some of which I've seen on here . Think before you brand yourself for the rest of your life. I wanted to put a picture up of Elmer Fudd but couldn't do it.

    But that the difference between guard dogs and personal protection. My dogs will take a fuss from anyone but will bite anyone if needed. A dog that you need to lock away is nigh on useless. Dogs that bark for no reason or because someone is about are usually doing it in defence, a lot of these dogs are bluff. A bluff to a ppd dog can be seen as a threat and this will get you bitten.

    If your dog attacks someone and you can't control it i.e get it off, then your nicked. Your dog needs to release when told. You could always make it bite again if you fancy .
