  1. If your fish are getting bigger, they will be eating more and producing more ammonia. This will be converted by your filter into nitrates which will feed the blanket weed. Thinning out your fish will reduce your blanket weed. Having a mild winter will not have helped. Do you have any other plants in your pond?
  2. Haven't got anything against any body, but feck me they would of been shot in most countries.
  3. Blanket weed, the bane of my life at the mo. I have a gravity filter 8m x 4m and I'm spending about 1-2 hours a day looking after it. The weed is the by product of your fish waste and needs to be removed if your uv isn't dealing with it. Last year I used barley straw sausages and I definitely had a lot less. I would say % less. Put your fish in the farm pond, you could always where a mask while you're fishing for them .
  4. You'll have to get your trainers on and go over or under
  5. Must of deleted them by mistake. Good home wanted. Great little muck about vehicle for the kids.
  6. Hungary, the cheapest place in Europe to buy property.
  7. Up for grabs is my sons S410, it's old C reg. It has no MOT or tax, in fact it has no log book , but it starts, runs fine and most things work I think. It has been used as a muck about motor in the fields, it has mud plugger tyres which are ok. You will need a trailer to pick it up or can deliver within reason for squirt. West Kent. Can send picks by email or Whatsapp. £100 pm me your details yc.
  8. It'll come back down the pipe that feeds the tank, to the tee and back into your place. I think .
  9. We call it "bullying the fish in" it's common practice with catch and release in still water trout. Thick gauge hooks help as well, minimising mouth damage. Lots of fishermen (especially coarse fishermen) underestimate the energy that fish put into their fight and "carefully" playing such hard fighting fish such as Barbel, Trout, etc can be killing them with kindness.
  10. Nice one. What size was it? Take some recovering do Barbel, they give it their all.
  11. Mine has killed a few Wild Boar sausages.
  12. Not even that little tyke of yours with the orange jacket?
  13. They are dotted around every where but not in epidemic numbers as was predicted. Yes they do get shot 7mm minimum I think and you can shoot them on the lamp.
  14. I paid good money for a camera with mms messaging and I'm too scared to put it out . I think the key is put it somewhere it can't be seen. not always as easy as it sounds as you need a clear field of view.
  15. How about local tickets?
  16. Would love to go, but haven't got it together since the internet applications, picture tickets and oh yeah the fence . But to be honest I can't afford the brain cells. I probably go when my son is old enough to appreciate it. I will certainly get the camper van back on the road, cant do without cold drinks.
  17. They certainly know how to draw a bit of attention to themselves, fecking Farrari and a trailer. When God was giving out brains and all that .
  18. I hate to say this, but farmed rabbit is better...... Farmed in most species are more tender. Rabbit is the second most farmed animal in the world after chicken.
