  1. Same here. I paid £120 for mine. I bought it coz I like how small it is.
  2. We had a Magpie on the bird table. It's gone now....
  3. If you're short on space https://www.safe.co.uk/products/yale-floorboard-safe.html?ACODE=googlebase&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_dWkp8fQ4gIVFuDtCh1t6A7IEAYYAiABEgIxCvD_BwE
  4. Check out the crowd, not a phone in sight!.
  5. That's just over 7 sacks of spuds.
  6. Get a dibber bar to find the runs. You can make them easily enough or get them off Ebay. The end of the bar is fatter so when it finds a run you can feel it slip in on entry (waits for Oh Err jokes). https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/STV-International-Defenders-Mole-Run-Finder-585-Mm-Metal-Probe-With-Hardwood-for/17012065264?iid=263747982696&thm=1000 If you're placing traps near to where the public walk I would mark where the traps are set with road marking spray paint. You can still find your traps and it stops people stealing your traps if they see where they are from your markers.
  7. IT'S A BOY!!......got more time for an Albino Kangaroo to be honest.
  8. Nooooo!, that's mental cheap. Someone got a bargain.
  9. I paid £1200 for a Kona Manomano in 2002. This one is on Ebay, exactly the same, apart from mine's blue, for 300 notes.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-Kona-Manomano-Full-Suspension-Mountain-Bike/283450038151?hash=item41fef05787:g:hA4AAOSwHOlcsXxW
  10. Just watched it and personally I think he's way off the mark. If it came to the point where you hardly ever saw a corvid or pigeon then I would agree that the General Licence needed reviewing. But the fact is these birds do cause harm and damage and, I think every one would agree, there is no rarity of any of these birds. For those that haven't seen it....
  11. This is a good video. Explains exactly what the springs and shims do. I used a drill bit, about 2mm I think, to punch out the pins.
  12. I got the Yo-Daves Trigger kits fitted to my 2 CZ452's. You can do it your self, if you're not too sure there are vids on Youtube that show you how to do it. You can get trigger kits off of Ebay from Australia for less than a tenner delivered or the Yo-Dave is £27 delivered. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=TRIGGER+KIT+CZ455&_sacat=0
  13. The 9 plants comment is what the woman was told by the Police when she told them she was growing. It probably only applies if you are using it for an illness.
  14. If you did want to cultivate your own bud, and you haven't done it before, grow 'Auto Flowering Plants'. Cannabis needs a 12hour on 12 hour off light cycle before it will start to flower. With an auto plant you don't need this. You just plant the seeds and they will go through a vegetative phase and straight into flower irrespective of the light cycle. If you planted some seeds now you should harvest when, hopefully, the weather is still dry, around August time. There are 3 strains of cannabis, Indica, Sativa and the little known Ruderalis. It's the Ruderalis that makes the plant an auto. Its
  15. The Catholic church has enough money to pay for the rebuilding project.
  16. I use a Hills pump. Remember to undo the valve at the bottom of the pump before you disconnect the hose from your gun. The first time I used mine I was there trying to disconnect it but it was still under pressure....DOAH!!. I always open the valve at the bottom of the pump quickly so it'll blow out any moisture inside. Don't know if this actually does much but it gives me piece of mind and makes the Mrs jump, she's, like, ''How many more times???,FFS, tell me when your gonna' do that!!''.......good times!!??
  17. Rats run with the bait coz they don't like being out in the open. Rats ain't daft, they know cats, owls and other predators are about and they can't see very well so they 'grab an' run'. I find if you put down some wooden pallets with something over the top, old bits of wood, sacks, whatever, they'll feel more safe and they'll sit and eat. You have to leave the pallets there for a while for them to get really comfortable as rats are 'neophobic' which makes them highly suspicious of anything new.
  18. I buy the odd tub of rat poison once in a blue moon off them. I still get a call from them every year asking how things are and do I still want a catalogue. I say I shoot and trap mostly and they say that's fine we'll send you a catalogue any ways. The catalogues are always big shiny glossy things, not cheap crap, I like to keep up with what chemicals will kill stuff ?
  19. Yeah they do. The number for them I've got is 01924268513. I know you have too register your B.P.C.A. certificate number with them to purchase baits, poisons, sprays, stuff like that, but I don't know about their I.D. service. Just spray them with a bendiocarb like Fiacam 'W',.....spray EVERYTHIN' with Ficam 'W',....take no chances ?
  20. These are nothing. Check out the size of these!! ????
  21. A true red velvet mite, Trombidiidae, lives in India. Them bad boys is well large. The ones in this country don't get no where near to this size. They got 8 legs, arachnids, but ain't spiders.
  22. A mite is a small arachnid that has 8 legs. The mite in the picture is a 'Clover Mite', they eat grass, clover and other plants high in nitrogen. You see them congregate on walls and can become a pest when they find their way indoors, leave a blood like mark when you crush 'um.. A 'Red Spider Mite' is the bane of gardeners. It'll suck all the goodness out of crops. It's way smaller, hardly visible, and usually first noticed when colonies of them have made large webs all over the tops of plants, by then your tomatoes are $ucked. The mite that's the main problem for poultry, and can be found on
  23. Sign it. They might come to nothing, then again they might go on telly and it'll be an experience.
  24. You can shoot a moded 410 out a bungalow window, you can't do that with a 12 gauge. Well, sayin' that, you can do it but, by Christ, yer ear's will be ringin' for a couple of days. I did it with the SX 3, had cartridges bouncing round the bath room. The Mrs was NOT impressed ???
  25. I use a Starlight Archer Gen 3 add on. Nice clear picture and with a night master 800I/R I can see further than I can shoot. 1 CR123 battery in it will last around 60 hours. I've got a Pulsar N550 digital scope as well, but I haven't used that for so long I don't even know where it is.
