If that's a little twig by the print I would say it's made by a fox cub. Just behind the 2 claws you can see small indentations from the pads but no rear pads as the foot would still be 'fluffy' back there and wouldn't make too much of an indentation.

On the news the other day they were saying how there were 13, yes, 13 tweets on twitter that were from Russia. Apparently this was 'proof' that the Russians had fixed the American election process. I would like some one to tell;l me how 13 tweets can be more powerful than the whole Clinton propaganda machine?. Now I'm not pro Russian but I want proof before I go screaming for blood. I can still remember when our Government told us we had to invade a Iraq because it was harbouring Bin Ladin. Is it the Russians?. Until there is absolute proof I ain't believing a word. On the news they were saying that the Russians are the only ones with this sort of material.....really?. What about the Americans and us, we have more of this sort of chemical material than any one else in the world. From before the American election we have been bombarded with anti-Russian speak and, if you actually check out what's been said, it's all been bull shit. Now this happens and Russia is back on the hate list. The Americans must be rubbing their hands. Like I said, until there's proof I ain't buying it.

PCP for me. Quiet, no recoil, extremely accurate and quick reloading. More expensive than a springer but the afore mentioned out ways that cost. Not long ago I showed someone who hadn't owned an air rifle before how to zero a scope. They had bought a springer and at the time, after shooting it, I thought 'No,....not for me thank you''. -

I cut stencils out of 12mm ply of rabbits, squirrels, rats or magpies. Then you can spray, I use road marking paint, a silhouette of what ever it is your going to be shooting at on to any thing, card board boxes, bits of wood, whatever. Set them out every 10 yards and shoot at them. If you are getting good groups in the head you know your going to be killing it out in the field. I think you can get a bit fixated on hitting smack bang dead center of a paper target, I know I used to, and for me this works much better. I'm not getting 'knocked about'. It's just that out of all the shot guns I've owned, since my shoulder has gotten worse, the Winchester SX 3 gives me less pain the next day.

Winchester SX 3 has very little kick back, good for shoulder. Brother in laws side by side kicks like a mule and next day my poor old shoulder hurts like a MOFO,.

Mole Valley Farmers sell 25 Kilo sacks of whole wheat for £7.25p. Get a metal dust bin and keep it by the feeder. The bin will keep the wheat dry. Put a brick on top the bin lid so the wind won't blow it off.

Rotator cuff is a b*****d, I've had it. I bought a Winchester SX3 semi auto. It's got waaaaay less kick back than a normal shot gun. I would defo recommend a semi if you have, or have had, a bad shoulder.

If her shot gun is in a cabinet you shouldn't be able to have access to that cabinet. -
Only ever used 40g Winchester subs and I can't say I've noticed any change in trajectory what ever the temperature.

The perching area on mine are very small , just big enough for a squirrel to sit on. They are also higher up the trunk of the tree. I set up a trail camera to see when and how many squirrels were coming to the feeder as there seemed to be a lot of wheat being eaten. When I played back the footage I saw that Pheasants were sitting on there and eating loads. My Mrs has seen a Deer down on one that's near the house.

Paint it with some Cuprinol, It'll last longer. If you haven't already, drill some holes to let the water out of the ledge or It'll get very wet and cause the wheat to soak up. The wheat won't 'flow' out when it's wet. I put beading, like plasterers bead, on the edges of my feeders as well, this stops the squirrels from trying to chew their way in if the feeder runs out of wheat. Once they know they're there they'll come from miles around, it's like a Mc Donalds for 'um! :-)

I got given an 'Air Products' bottle that had had oxygen in it. It's completely empty now. I can't see why I couldn't get it retested and refilled with 'diving gas'. Just need a regulator and hose then.

Cheers for that, lots of good info. I like the idea of clean air. When ever I use the pump I always let the release off nice and quick and sometimes you can see a kind of misting come out.

I've always used a stirrup pump to fill my AA s410. Lately I've been using it more and more and some nights it's been a pain in the ass. It keeps me fit but I'm leaning towards a bottle. I tell me self I'll only use it on the odd occasion but in reality if I get one the pump will just be a dust gatherer. Any ways, I know jack shit about bottles. What sizes do they come in and how many fills would a .22 get. Cheers :-)
