  1. I would won't to know if they do a gas action shot gun in a 2+1 or just a multi shot. Also is it available in a left hand configuration.
  2. This is from a site called 'Varmit Al's field testing the 17hmr'. I got a CZ 452 in 17hmr and zero at 100yds. As you can see from the chart, if you put the cross hairs on any thing from 25 to 105yds you'll hit it without having to compensate.
  3. Like the title says I'm after an AA S310 in .177 caliber. Been after one for ages, they seem to be as rare as rocking horse shit. I'm left handed but i think they were all ambidextrous stocks. There must be one out there some where *fingers crossed*, Cheers!!.
  4. This is a 22lr ballistics chart i found @ gunsmoke engineering.
  5. Hi there. I have a CZ 452 22lr and it's zeroed in at 50yds. Just wondering what other people zero theirs in at and why??. Cheers!.
  6. I use Ficam 'D', but a guy i was talking to the other day said he used a can of expanding foam. He just pushed the long nozzle in the opening of the nest and into the middle of the nest, spraying as he pushed, and that did the trick. Also, as the wasps came back to the nest they got stuck in the foam cause it's all sticky.
  7. I only ever use Duffus traps a.k.a barrel traps. When they are in place it doesn't matter if soil falls back on top, won't affect the trap at all. Another plus is you can catch 2 moles in one trap. Not a regular occurrence but it does happen every now and then.
  8. Far play to her. She looks well chuffed!, but you gotta' get her to skin it, how is she gonna' cook it if it ain't been skinned??
  9. I love this video!, especially the ballistic jelly shots.
  10. Dip a cotton bud in some Iso Propyl Alcohol, rub it over the lens of the laser, then blow over the lens with compressed air. This evaporates the Alcohol. Don't do it when the laser is on. If you search Ebay for 'compressed air duster spray can' you can buy , you guessed it, compressed air in a can. For Iso Propyl Alcohol Google 'TMB Electronics Iso Propyl Alcohol', As for cotton buds......ask a woman, they got shit loads of the things.
  11. My Brother-in-law and i go out together. I shoot the rabbits and he shoots any fox we come across. He uses a 204 Ruger and it's perfect for the job. I use 22lr and 17hmr but if i had to have only one i would go for the 22lr. It's quiet AND cheap to run. A box of 50 Winchester 40 gr hollow points are about a fiver a box ish, where 50 Hornady V Max are £14.50, center fire rounds are more expensive again. On your application you want to ask for moderators for the rifles and ask to be able to hold 600 rounds of each caliber and purchase 500 rounds. Another difference between the 22lr and hmr is ri
  12. I have 2 CZ 452's. 1 in.22LR the other 17HMR. Both are fitted with trigger kits i got off of Ebay. They each cost £11.08 with £3.09 P+P. They came from Canada but only took a week to arrive. They are worth every penny, makes the guns so much better to shoot. I used a drill bit to punch out the pins. The other thing you might want to do while you have the stock off is check that the barrel is floating. I gave my HMR a sanding down, while i had the stock off doing the trigger, and it groups much better.
  13. Not a lover of Phostoxin or Talunex then?........me neither.
  14. I use Duffus traps. Some times i pull the trigger loop towards the traping loop if i think it's a bit far forwards. I don't bother with weathering, i just put them in the ground. I have used ALL new traps before and still caught moles. All a mole is interested in is eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat.
  15. Hello eveyone......umm....i live in Somerset, i like pick ups, shooting and the country side......oh and the wife.
