  1. I sent my renewal back at the end of October, it's not due till the middle of February but better early than late. I did it as a hard copy printed off. Then sent it in by recorded delivery. That way you know it's got there and it's an actual 'thing' sat there on some ones desk not just another Email.
  2. If you do go self employed , as above, get B.P.C.A., R.S.P.H.level 2 award. Companies like Killgerm, one of the big pest control suppliers, won't sell to you until you give them a B.P.C.A. cert number with matching name. Get a company to set you up with a good web site and do a 'pay per click', this will get you right to the top of page one when some one does a search that has words in it you have stated as relevant. Get some 'ghostnumbers' for your phone, you can have numbers for different areas that look like land lines but they all go to your phone, make you look like a bigger concern. It'l
  3. Kingspan/Celotex has twice the insulation of rockwool. There's another insulation product that's called Tri iso 10. It's supposed to be as good as kingspan but only about 20mm thick. Don't get that, it's mad expensive and failed building control tests.
  4. I have permanent feeders set up with full time hides. I use whole wheat as bait. It's only £7.50 from Mole Valley. There might be shit loads of acorns around but they still can't resist the wheat.
  5. It was the Sumerians that came up with the sexagesimal system and they were around before the Babylonians. In 2004 B.C., the Elamites stormed Ur and took control. ... The ruling Elamites were eventually absorbed into Amorite culture, becoming the Babylonians and marking the end of the Sumerians as a distinct body from the rest of Mesopotamia. All hominoid species were starting to die out around 4100bc, 6000 years ago, then WHAMO!...the Sumerians appeared. They were the first to farm with cultivated crops, have domesticated animals, use money, have a judicial system, courts, mathematics, kept r

  8. Check out 'Optics warehouse'. They have some good deals and seem cheaper than else where. https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/optics
  9. I got an Hawke Airmax SR12 that's 6-18x44 on me AA S410 and always keep it on 6. Head shots on pigeons at 30 yards no probs.
  10. I like pasta bags or wax blocks as you can thread them on to wire. This stops one greedy rat from taking it all away. If using loose wheat cover it. Went to one farm and the farmer was emptying piles of wheat poison on the corners of out buildings, then the birds were coming down and eating it...not good.
  11. I like the MTC scopes. They work well with my N/V. Going to replace the Hawke scope on my AA S410 as its parallax is on the front and it's been bugging me for years. Got a Mamba lite on a CZ 452 22LR it's got nice low turrets and I really like it.Was looking at £300+ scopes but have settled on a Mamba ultra lite as it'll do the job fine. Optics ware house is selling them for £189. https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/mtc-optics-mamba-ultra-lite3-10×40-illuminated-rifle-scope–reticle-duplex
  12. 'BIG STAN'. My mate said 'watch just the first 2 minutes'....I was hooked. It's free on Youtube...
  13. I get a lot of local jobs off of 'Nextdoor' https://nextdoor.co.uk/ Had this message a couple of days ago; 'Hi xxxxx, I saw you commented on another post regarding removal of wasps. We are having a small issue with wasps at the moment and are after some help. I have a small plum tree in the garden which we have left the fruit on (stupidly) and now we have a lot of wasps attracted to it. Ideally I would just like someone with a suit to remove the fruit in the hope the wasps will disperse. I have looked for a nest around and don’t think we have one in the garden or house. Please let m
  14. I wash me ears when I wash the rest of me. If wax builds up there ain't much you can do about it.
  15. My right ear was completely blocked up. Dr wouldn't syringe it but gave me f****n' tablets....waste of time, so I did this. Get a 60ml syringe from Mole Valley Farmers. Fill the sink with warm water, suck up warm water with syringe, spray warm water into ear, keep doing it until you get ear wax coming out. It worked a treat, I did the left ear as well and got wax out of there also. It was bliss, I could hear again and didn't feel like I was dizzy and gonna' fall over.
  16. Swiss Re, Lloyds of London, AUVA or other insurance companies think 5G is a problem. Some won't even cover you for it. Scroll down and see...https://www.jrseco.com/european-union-5g-appeal-scientists-warn-of-potential-serious-health-effects-of-5g/ Seems the companies that want 5G are the ones who are going to be making money from it. Those that won't be making any money, like the 180 Dr's and scientists from 36 different countries, seem concerned about peoples health.
  17. Used to refurb pubs and if the floor had tiles on it we would just go over the top. As long as what you're going on top of is sound there's no problem. If the door opens into the tiled room you'll have to trim the bottom off of the door, and you may have to add a transition strip. This goes in the door way and covers the 'transition' between your tiles and what ever is the other side of the door. https://www.google.com/search?q=carpet+to+tile+transition+strip&client=firefox-b-d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiS5Mfp_5jrAhVRQMAKHX4KBEAQ_AUoAnoECA0QBA&biw=1280&bi
  18. War Dogs. True story about a couple of blokes in their 20's that got into the arms trade. ....just watch it!.
  19. Get some 'Diatomaceous earth' aka 'DE'. Get it from Mole Valley Farmers or Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Poultry-World-Red-Mite-Powder-Diatomaceous-Earth-Chicken-Mites-Food-Grade/324024794507?hash=item4b7161fd8b:g:3YoAAOSwce1d27ew It's a Silica dust that is harmless to mammals and birds but kills insects. The microscopic silica particles are extremely sharp and tear through the insects exoskeleton, this then causes the insect to dehydrate and die.. You sprinkle it around problem areas. If it's used outside place it under some thing so it doesn't get wet.
  20. The population of Scotland is 5.5 million, London a lone is 8.9 million and the whole of England is 56 million. It would be a paper work nightmare for the Police. I just don't think they would be able to cope.
  21. I had forgotten all about that....classic.. https://youtu.be/6GzOoyOOfqM?t=36
  22. So, Kanye West is going to run for President of the U.S.A....... I soooo hope he wins. He can't make it any worse and at least it'll be entertaining. If he does win I want him to be like President Camacho....
