    Take him to a rescue center and let the dog choose him if you know what I mean...it has been proving that especially dogs are great with all sorts from brain damage to fits autism to Alzheimer's the list goes on... but at these rescue homes they must obviously let potential owners meet and greet the dog of choice under supervision from the kennel staff or something....you will get to meet a few dogs and him and the correct dog will have an instant bond you will see it happen right in front of you...he wouldn't get that with a puppy because it will not be in tune with your son the way an older

    Correct.... seems like a few on here have been reading the wind in the willows or plummer books!     terrier work is the most humane selective and efficient way of dealing with any predator in the UK/ EIRE over the last 200+ years... terrier work has been the most scrutinized under the microscope field craft in history and still came out on top! why? because when done correctly by competent individuals it is the most selective as in target species, the most efficient as in 1 terrier is used to ground and when dug to terrier removed and fox dispatched = humane! as natural as nature its self, as glyn has said.... if anyone has read the burns reports from back in the day....they tried there

    if your gifted a pup from decent stuff and the pup you got is working to a high standard and is what you think is worth lining something after a few seasons of good work ring up the man who gifted it too you, for a few days out with the dog/bitch let him see how the pup he gave away works like...... he will then be able to put you onto or know off a dog/bitch that will be suitable and right for said terrier...yous will get a few days out with the said mating too see both terriers work and will know that will be the correct mating.... theres a major difference in having a litter of terrier pup

    Nope...If you do a good enough job on your permissions during the winter you don't have to go back in summer, then he will need you in winter when other foxes claiming up territory are a plenty and up on there paws.... but if it HAS to be done it has to be done!
