  2. lol... tell us something we dont know Jigger.... sure 4 people went on hunger strike in mountjoy prison on friday...do you know why they were arrested and jailed for?? protesting over the water charges....and i couldnt find 1 mention of it in any of the northern irish news .... Irelands as big a police state as anywhere else in the world at the moment...and any one who thinks any different can show me the leprehauns and unicorns at the bottom of their garden. later.... the hunger games are coming folks!!!
  3. don't know about OP but I got mine cause my dog was on deaths door. Well so we all thought, his temp went over the safe limit and was on verge of brain damage. Think they gave me the diazzies to ease him cause they really thought he was a goner. So I done all I could at home to save him. MoChara is now nearly 7 years old and fit as a fiddle.! Vets can be wrong too. Might have been to prevent seizures with a high temp. Over here they give it to dogs for anxiety. ATB Think you have been taking for a few handy pounds...busy surgery i bet? LOL... best post ive seen on here ye
  4. They are contributing with money. Why should we have to write it aswell. They are contributing with stories, to keep the only decent magazine about real terrier and lurcher work alive..... this is also the only reason IMO they part with the paltry sum that EDRD costs.... not to line DH pockets.... but to read articles from a wide range of terrier and lurcher men, throughout eurpoe/usa ... im sure if it was just DH that was contributing then it would be once every 6 months with less pages, less types of terriers wrote about and you wouldnt hear how some of the european men or yanks work
  5. a bolting terrier is not a failed digging terrier in my opinion.... a bolting terrier is a terrier if doing what it says on the tin will bolt its fox within the first 15 mins, if its a handy known run...if you stand back and be quiet.. depending on the particular burrow that the terrier is working.... if its rangey and difficult may take a terrier a bit to oust him out....but if he dont wanna run and willing to stay in his lair...the bolter turns into a stayer and no shifting...its a terrier...latin for earth! the bolter comes into it when you say hes bolted the last 15 out of 20... but if i
  6. fair comment...as i said i know nothing about saluki Xs , or the folk own them.... enjoyed the clip of a dog running a winter hare in not the easiest of terrains!
  7. this is a proper dog, unbeaten, hasn't missed a single longear this season, been the best dog around for along time, look at how this dog runs real longears, the dog is just class and his record speaks for itself, there's no comparison, proven dog in every way...great dog .not 1 clue about saluki Xs or who owns them i dont even know anyone who keeps them but if this the dog there trying to say is a jacker or no good? thats is one fine article of a hare dog! he was glued to that winter hare... went for the lift twice in a slow wet winter ploughed field.... few times into the long stubble
  8. one of the best posts in the terrier section in a long while! The moment a young boy is concerned with which is a Jay or which is a sparrow....he can no longer see the birds or hear them sing....

  12. 100% HPR i always find giving them work, may it be terrier lurcher or GD fine tuned them.... not a mill!.
  13. HPR...have to admit thats craftmanship alrite very tidy.... i know 1-2 who have them and to be honest they dont use them...there just there... dogs need out to pee and scent and exercise and turn and all sorts of other things.... i know some are really busy with other stuff, like work and all but 20 mins of the lead to pee and act like a dog twice a day will do a lot more than a mill.... but hey each to there own i suppose..
  14. lol...lads our tools are heavy our clothings stuffy yet waterproof.... we trek miles dig holes deeper than ourselves and fill them in with more soil than we take out we are very welcome when we call! we have more respect for wildlife and our terriers than we have for ourselves, we make it our business to bring terrier work in 2015 .......your feet carry you everywhere without them...well your house bound! boots is not an expense the proper purchase is essential.... JMO!

  19. ok i could be wrong wouldnt be a first time lol.... foxes are wild animals they are not like the domestic dog...they dont come into heat every 6 months the way some bitches do..or you have the once a year bitch...they can come into heat anytime or any month,,,,like december or august! but the fox is tottally different they have been hardwired from day dot to come into cycle late november early december so there cubs are being born height of spring so food will be a lot more plentiful than it would be in the depths of winter, she could barely feed herself this time a year in some places never m
