For someone who admits they do not hunt or shoot , can i ask why you are a member of this site, as for millions of unwanted dead birds where do derive your figures from what source. The BBC is strictly controlled and very biased in its opinion to field sports, i have first hand knowledge of this when i was pre interviewed on a so called live radio show and refused permission to speak because my views were considered too radical, do not speak to me about freedom of speech in this country, censorship is at its peak with the british media.

Problem with a lot of antis they love to voice their opinion, truth is they dont actually have their own opinion they parrot the opinions of so called celebritys who dont know their arse from their elbow when it comes to fieldsports.

How many other breeds can turn like a whippet ,a great advantage on rabbits on short runs. Bigger dogs overshoot, and still fade on long courses.

Whippets are for real hunters that want to catch small prey rabbits ect, not for the big ruffty tuffty hunter thats trying to get bigger game like an internet ego.

She has all that, problem is mate she has always been full on since she was a pup, vet reckons just old age, but just short of ten im not convinced, whether shes burned out, no problem, shes earned her retirement and will be with me to her dying day, just looking for some thing to make her last days more comfortable. cheers guys. -
My lurcher now approaching ten years, stiffening up seems to be problem only on the sprint, shes seen the vet and he said about tablets and other treatment. But id rather ask you guys for recomendations, having the same types of dog

I shoot at a local rifle club, and the general opinion of recent events among members a lot of ex military is did the police need to shoot 50 rounds to take out 3 terrorists, according to reports the first 2 were killed with 6 rounds, leaving 44 rounds to take out one man, now the other issue is the police shot one civilian has anyone heard if they were killed or injured, seems to have been pretty well censored around this issue. Whats your view.

Does the colour of a dog influence your choice of ownership. When i was a kid the old guys, mainly poachers said never get a white dog, i presumed this was because of them being easy to see which for a poacher was not ideal. Now there may be more more to this, reading an article in a book in the dentists the other day about cancer in white dogs being more prevelant, and deafness in white boxer dogs, set me thinking do you guys that breed litters avoid colours in the breeding program And do you have any bad experiences because of this .

Ive seen a crow chase a dog fox of a dead rabbit corvids are one of the most intelligent scavengers, they dont fear much ,they account for a massive number of new born chicks. Get a close look into their eyes and you realise what dinosaurs evolved into.
