Seems acceptable in certain areas to cover up the truth about the people that are carrying out these crimes, and the reasons why. Police chief tonight on BBC saying it was due to the lack of policing, true to a certain degree. Fact is gang culture in some ethnic groups are responsible for these crimes, but you are branded a racist if you speak out. About ten years ago a site i was working on i was asked to build some steps up to the front door of this house, now from the pavement to the bottom of the door was a height difference of about 6 feet, it was on a steep hill and the houses were stepped terraces, Anyway i finished the steps which consisted of two pavers side by side on brick steps going up to the door. Local radio today guy from barratts saying how timber framed houses are the way forward, as they are building 1000 new homes in the east riding, when asked if there was a shortage of tradesmen, he said there was but they would overcome the problem. Truth is they are partly to blame for the shortage, stopping apprenticeships, when the recession hit they were quick enough to get rid of decent tradesmen and reduce prices for brickwork. Bring in the east europeans they were cheap or so they thought, cost a fortune to put their work right. A site is only as good as its site managers standards.

Had both of mine done on the advice of a vet, both had operations for cancerous lumps on their teats, spaying reduces the risk of cancer. Mine both worked great after and did not increase in weight.

Made a few in the past out of a 6 foot length of 15mm copper pipe, darts were made from barby skewers with i tiny arrowhead made from welding rod the flight was just cotton wool wrapped round the end of the dart in a ball. Brought down roosting pheasants with one, peashooters they definately aint.

I find these acts disgusting, but what was equally disgusting was the time it took to dedicate a memorial to all those in bomber command that paid the ultimate price. -

Suicidal prey drive, high speed and lack of self preservation = big vets bills, dead dog, and problems if you take them down the local park and they mistake someones shitzu for a hare. Plus side great for crossing to produce a lurcher great pets but to work a pure i would not waste my time.

A friend of mine had a beardie cross off a genuine working beardie and was a very good dog, mooching lamping ect. What i think is overlooked is working collies are in essence hunting dogs, only the hunting aspect has been supressed into more of the herding instinct, a rogue collie can be one of the worst sheep killers about, One thing often springs to my mind is are you good enough to be the alpha male in the working relationship, as skycat said some collies do not respond well to stupid commands.
