    hare coursing events, not hare coursing. it's still perfectly legal to send a lurcher after puss Not in the rep unless its a licenced event ran by a licenced coursing club.

    I reckon any day any man or woman puts there terrier to ground and gets the result there after and terrier out safe is a good day,but 1 particular day comes to mind about 5-6 year ago.We had been out early on a sunday morn and had a straight forward enough dig to a bitch i used to have and then the heavens opened,i mean it rained like i had never seen before so we made for my house and when we got there we were soaked to the skin.We had a cuppa and a bit of banter and then 2 of the lads decided they would head of home as they lived a good distance from me,WIPEOUT of here was 1 of them.That lef

    I really dont think any young lad or girl would go out and pay say £35 for a book about working terriers if they were not interested in working terriers in the 1st place.The only place to get youngsters interested in the game is out and about with the dogs not siting on there arses reading a book.

    Friend of mine got a dog recently from up around lough neagh country.He is a huge animal,sort of a rusty red in colour and very good in water but after that he aint anything special.Seen another once when i went up around enniskillin for geese,the gilly on the day had one with him and it made a couple of good retrieves but nothing more than a reasonable working lab would do,jmo.
