  1. Why would you agree to a divorce bill before you know what terms you'll walk away on? Same reason mate, they continually put themselves on the back foot, either out of stupidity, fear or contempt for the electorate.
  2. Yeah, occasionally for rough shooting as I don't like proper shooing coats with big cartridge pockets. But tbh I can usually get away with half a dozen in each pocket of my jacket and just regularly restock at the truck. The belt will only come out in summer (no jacket) or if I was planning on a right yomp and needed a box full on me.
  3. Fantastic! I think we'd all like to know more details, if only to better equip others to protect against this crime. But it's probably best left a mystery in such a public place.
  4. No, if anything it's tightening. Pretty much the only way you can get a legit pistol is for Humane Dispatch, which now really means you have to be required to do that as part of your employment. I don't think recreational HD cuts it anymore. lol. Anyway, here's a bit more detail. So he used to have a Colt Python which they decided one day that they weren't happy about and told him that given it was a powerful 6 shot 357 they wanted 4 of the chambers welded shut. Not being able to bring himself to commit such an offence on such a fine tool he countered by offering to downscale to a 9mm if
  5. I've got a mate who has the same thing you carry for work on his FAC. Also I think in Ireland there is a may issue policy on pistols for self defence as well as a grandfathering policy on sporting use of pistols. I think....
  6. Personally I'd be glad to see the Europeans taking defence seriously and I'd be glad to see our sovereign forces operating with them to strengthen regional security. However, this to me is potentially another sign that the EU wants the last corner stone of a proper state, a unified military and command with sovereign control. A carrier is the perfect excuse to initiate that, a project too large for a single EU nation but as a shared asset would make the project much more viable. And of course easily sold as necessary to counter our own regional Naval dominance.
  7. https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/germany-proposes-european-aircraft-carrier/ An EU Navy flagship?
  8. It's not right that such a young child should have to learn such a shitty life lesson. I hope someone snitches and all is made right.
  9. I think not explaining/understanding that is probably the cause of 90% of arguments on this section. LOL Bushing comes in quite different forms. From basically hunting a pack of small hounds all the way to proper controlled spaniel work or a single terrier bimbling through thin hedges. Seems to me there's a world of difference between those and the term 'bushing' doesn't come close to sufficiently explaining what someone really does.
  10. Everytime I see a dumped holdall or bag, first thing that runs through my mind is "f**k, that might be full of loot!". I often have to check!
  11. I don't know shit about the mentality of poor black gang bangers so my opinion hardly counts for much but for what it's worth I reckon that would go a long way to improving society generally. Kids (and adults for that matter) need idols that are decent human beings, people who demonstrate and value pride, dignity, loyalty, honour, strength, humility, knowledge, compassion, community spirit etc. The sort of virtues that should define a gentleman and a citizen. Idols who can demonstrate the pride that comes from resisting the temptation to cheat your neighbour because you haven't the grit to do
  12. Dunno about celebs but I reckon Accip was killed by that neighbour of his!
  13. Ricky Gervais doesn't offer any case studies, just bile. I actually have to go and find them myself, which I have done. I accept that trophy hunting isn't perfect and there are many examples of it not being as positive as is portrayed. There are also many examples of how trophy hunting practices have adapted to the research to stay on the right side of the science.
  14. Bubye Valley Conservancy. If you aren't aware of this you really have no place opposing the hunting-conservation model. Reality is, and this goes for many 'hunters' too, folks are primarily against it because of the fantasy they have in their heads of what a 'trophy hunter' is. Usually having never met one in their lives.
  15. I would and do eat any black pudding going. Not found any I didn't like. It's f***ing amazing with bacon and HP! Hardly even touch a sausage though.
  16. Stop feeding them. Suddenly life is better. Pretty much goes for anyone or anything that gives you the same feeling.
  17. What about raccoons/foxes etc mate? A terrier and a big dog seem a good team for f***ing about around brush piles and old barns.
  18. I've not seen anything like that out of deer parks.
  19. The sources (SCI & The Deer Initiative) seem reputable mate. But I have no idea if the footage has been verified. Incredible if it's real! Like a scene out of the Serengeti.
  20. TBH they probably want being chased about a bit. A bit of hunting pressure would break them up and scatter them and make it easier to severely thin the out.
  21. I personally thought that fella was living on another planet! LOL
  22. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-oil-brexit/rising-uk-china-oil-trade-could-soften-blow-of-no-deal-brexit-idUKKCN1QA251 What's that? Shifting markets.... Freedom to nurture our economy.......
