  5. I'm not going to challenge any of the facts you have quoted but the conclusion wreaks of white guilt to me. I'm not entirely sure how I'm supposed to be responsible for the acts of the likes of Cecil Rhodes? Human history is one of conquest and genocide. But we're supposed to be ones feeling guilty today? We can't take the responsibility of colonialism anymore than we can the medals for storming the beaches of Normandy. It's flawed in it's logic and totally unethical.

  7. The roof isn't dependant on the base in this case mate. Work everything and then after a while you can focus on areas that you feel are weaknesses. Arguably your core is a foundation necessary to develop the rest. Which a well designed weekly regime will naturally develop through big lifts.
  8. I think that what 'we' think we know about nutrition is being challenged more now. Over simplification of nutritional science like "too much sugar is bad for you....... fruit has sugar........ careful how much fruit you eat!" is being found out. Same imo with meat, saturated fats and to a lesser extent fat in general. Can't argue though that unprocessed food and majority plant based is almost certainly the way forward.

If we overwhelmingly vote euroskeptics in then they just carry on procrastinating and pretending they are working on this mythical 'deal'. if we vote in moderates and europhiles then they use that as legitimacy for a second referendum or total overturn.

  14. I think part of all this journey is finding where your natural strengths and weaknesses are and then adapting your goals to those. You might set out wanting to look like Adonis but discover that is just not the path nature intended for you, then find that you are a gifted powerlifter or have remarkable gymnastic power. No reason not to try to fight your nature and achieve what you can but at the same time learning to accept your strengths and weaknesses may be more beneficial and ultimately equally as rewarding as you thought becoming Adonis would be.   15. I think the reality is that to put on significant mass takes a shit load of dedication, sacrifice and mental strength. IMO strength/resistance training has benefits way beyond potentially looking like the Hulk. But I think the most important thing is to find an activity you like, it makes the discipline aspect less of an issue.

  19. I haven't looked into the legal case for all this but I have quite a bit of faith in the Supreme Court. So if it's legit and escalates to that level then I'd be quietly confident. Though I doubt the Gov have overlooked something like that a second time...

Never lifted in the morning so couldn't really say though. Just to re-iterate on the what weight question. Start low and work up if that wasn't obvious.
