    Was a tuff time for sure,,I had just left school in 83,,,had a few factory jobs,,,got made redundant 5 times from then till 91,,,,,never worked in the pit myself,,nor me dad,,,grandad had,,, Our village every man except one was on strike,,,,,police had to move him and his family out,,,his brother as well if my memory serves me right,,,there was some proper ding dongs with the cops from down south,,,, Mind I don't need to tell you that ,,tatblisters,,,lol

    Just remembered the spaniel in the pic was called giro,,,lol Good old maggi thatcher,,,,the end of the ,s early 90,s ,,pits closing everywhere ,,I had worked for engineering company making mining equipment ,, just befor that pic,,, redundancy soon followed...

    Some nights we did more than one thing,,,start early on the fish,,then bag some bunnies,,,,on this night there was 3 of us,,,so not as much coin earned ....

    We never got £2.50 a pound for venison,,,not back then,,,,£1 a pound,,,was the going rate,,,,was getting £4.50 for a brace of birds,,,to a big international game dealers,,,,so they took any amount...we had a restaurant for the fish,,,,, And would try to sell the venison carcas hole ,,,or half,,,but split long ways down the spine,,,cos very fecker wanted the back half...

    I spent a good few years trying in the early 90,s,,,,but was all kinds of hunting not just dogs,,,shooting birds and taking deer and netting fish,,,

    Funnily enough ,,,just today a few hours ago at our little local tesco thing in the next village,,,I witnessed a young woman in a fluffy onesy,,,coming out of the shop,,,,got to say I was gobsmacked....

    The obviouse answer to the question is all soil types and ground produce difrent hazards,,,, One thing I will say is don't be fooled in to thinking that the somtimes soft tilled soil of the east of England is without problems,,,,,the worst of which is the nial bed getting the soil stuffed up it,,for want of a better expression ,,,this then can cause infection and make the area around the nial bleed,,,this problem happens a lot on winter seed fields... Up on the hills where I often am,,the uneven ground and rocks,,cause difrent problems with regard to cuts and toes,, wrists ,, getting i

    I tried a tube heater from Argos a few year ago,,,fecking pants,,,a few inches away you couldn't feel anything...maybe just the Argos one... Heat lamp with a ceramic bulb,,,apart from this winter with it being mild,,,mine are on 24/7 from November till,,it warms up,,usually March

    I think them yank igloo things look stupid,,,and I seen a pic of your back garden,,,lovely country garden ,,they wouldn't look right..... Get a good solid tongue and grove shed,,,with a good quality runn on,,,possibly made of them galvanised panels,,,inside the shed build some sleeping boxes ,,,,you know what I'm on about you've been about a bit... The bigger the shed you can afford ,,,the more space you have for other stuff in there,,,,will look far nicer in your garden
