I would agree,,,I've watched loads of clips on the net,,,and some of the best bits were on lanzerrote,,I think it was,,them dogs were running on hardened lava,,,,and the rabbits were living in the cracks of rock and lava,,,they used muzzled ferrets to get them out to runs the dogs on,,,great footage

Yeh pretty much,,,,but podencos do vary a bit....you can get smaller versions,,,about the size of a springer,,,I think podenco means rabbit hunter,,or rabbit dog,,,,mushroom will know

Them bloody black ones are a curse,,,lol I get buck fever when I see them,,got to try and catch them at all costs,,,somtimes missing other easier normal coloured ones....got three black ones out of a burry one morning ferreting... In al the years lamping and ferreting 35 years now,,I've caught almost every colour apart from pure white albino,,,and I've only seen one,,,and that was in France at a motorway services,,woke up early morning,,,sleeping on the ground outside the car,,,with rabbits running round all about me,,,lol

Not somthing we use over here,,,they do open up,,,and to most lads a dog barking whilst running is a big no no... Also there not that quick ,, Really they are a hound,,rather than a pure sight hound like our greyhounds,,,there's loads of film of them on YouTube ,,working in Spain ,,and the Spanish islands,,,and there great at what there bred for,,,working very ruff terrain,,with a lot of cover...

Nordaman fir are the best trees,,they look the best,,,and luckily drop the least,,,stand in water as well ,,like flowers.. Nordaman are £20 for between 5-6 foot in aldi this week,,,I normally pay around 40 from morisons

Might have to give this a whirl,,,got some drop boxes up north ,,might bring down a hundred or so ,,and drop one or two in all the warrens round my village,,,, Only trouble of course is ,,,the keeper night shooting the feckers,,,that would piss me off

Yeh there are differences ,,but there are differences in within a group also,,, All rabbits look alike in genrel ,,but have a close look,,,some longer,,fatter,,slimmer ect ect,,,up on the hills they seem to be larger,,,this is possibly to do with keeping warm,,thicker jackets,,and a good layer of fat... But I suppose if you bring them down here to breed,,they would level back out again..
