    I live next to the Trent ,,,,and walking the banks regular,,,you often find big fish carcasses,,,

    Obviously the new pic is a stoat,,, But the first pic ,, I would have said mink,,,not a ferret as there not much at climbing,,,pine marten well maybe as Eddie said pics can be deceptive ,,,but there not common in England .. Or of course the first pic is a stoat,,and it just looks bigger .... So for me the first pic is a stoat or a mink,,,just seems to much of a coincidence though for it not to be a stoat,,possibly the same one,,,

    Bloody towney lol,,,weasels have a very short tail,,,the stoats tail is longer the same length as a small slim ferret,,,,and as said the stoats tail is black for about the last third... If it's close enough long enough it's easy to tell them apart,,,b Both creatures are great to watch,,,and all the times I've watched stoats hunt,,,I'm amazed at there tenacity ,,,amazing little creatures,,, Strangely enough my dogs will hunt them ,they know the difference between ferrets and stoats,,,,but I don't like killing them so discourage the dogs from getting them

    Same here last night,,,my bitch was toiling all night,,and in the end had to call it a night,,,it was warm and she had a lot of long runs,,that turned in to mini courses ,,,only for the rabbit to escape,,, I did say to nottshunter on the way home,,I wonder if she's about to breakdown..
