The press choses what kind of story they want to put across to the public Yeah i thought that myself,but surely there must have been someone near by with half a brain to tell him to shut the f**k up It's all in the timing I'm sure the interview was long than that before someone figured it out and shut him up The bloke they interviewed was so thuddingly thick it almost seemed like a set up but someone said earlier that it was someone from here... Is that right??? If it was they would have to be stupider than they appear to admit

    If the barrel band won't hold the barrel properly, I'd sack the idea of a scope and use the open sights. Some kind of epoxy or similar may hold it for a while, but it's only destined to fail eventually. Is the grub scew in the top of the band not tightening up? If the thread's fecked, take the band off and any garage or tool shop should be able to take the thread out to the next size up for next to nowt

    Good thinking, It would definitely get more people interested. Plus a massive well done to Danw for the main prize on offer, top drawer Too right I know I've said this before, but I really am very suprised that this hasn't had a lot more interest than it has so far and the more folks who know about it the better. If it does come good and turns into a calender that sells well with the proceeds going to Help For Heros, as was mentioned when Wurz first posted about this, then it has to be a good thing.

    You can get a spare barrel for your 90 with open sights. It's exactly the same one as fitted to the . Could be an option

    They'll have read it, Darren, no doubt about that. They'll be planning their next cunning and dastardly plot to return as we speak. Who knows, next time round they may have even worked out how to use a spell checker correctly too. Sad for them that a grammar checker hasn't been invented yet.

    They used a double spring simply because the quality of the steel they used was shite. Eastern European rubbish. Replace the double spring crap with a decent quality one speced for a BSA Mercury or Airsporter

    what company is that with? sounds similar to my situation only worse..........something wierd going on here! It was with AXA through a broker called Thamesbank. I've used them for years and they've always been really good, I've not spoken to them yet as I've only just got the renewal notice. I will be doing some proper shopping around though, as that's just taking the piss.

    I've just had my renewal and it was £560 something last year and now they're asking £925.62!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF's all that about??? I'm 42, full no claims, no points and it's for a fecking 10 year old Astra 1.7 diesel that's only worth around what they're asking on TPFandT

    That's a shame, they're normally a decent trigger on those but it's not an adjustable one sadly. If it doesn't bed in after the first tin or so of pellets, take it back to the shop as it's not right, mate. Good luck and let us know how you get on
