  1. Feckin' priceless!! I split up with my last long term girlslag after coming across similar shit on her PC
  2. Good question. Maybe it's like virtual Free Masons
  3. I've been enjoying some lovely plum jam that some friends have made. Can't beat home grown even if it's someone elses
  4. I agree with what you've said, Jai, but vegetarians don't wash with me. They may not eat meat but they'll happily wear leather, drink milk, eat eggs etc and most of the veggies when pressed will admit to eating fish, seafood and chicken. What most of them are really saying is that they don't eat anything with a face they can in some way relate to. Fair play to vegans though, as fecked up as they are at least they're standing by their morrals.
  5. Check everything's properly tightened up and that the detent that holds the under lever in place is locking up correctly. TXs are a doddle to strip down, mate, so if you're up for a bit of DIY you should be able to do a strip, clean, re-lube and re-build without too many problems. It could be a broken main spring or it's just gone a bit dry. If you want, drop me a PM and I'll go through it with you Edit to add... Don't put 3 in 1 anywhere near the internals, it'll diesel like feck if it gets into the compression chamber.
  6. I had their first album Andy which I used to listen to in the car before the times of CD's, fook knows what it was called but it had all the oldies on there like "Fluffy Pup" and another about Mcdonalds? top band that used to have me nearly crashing the car ............. Bloody hell, mate, that takes me back!! I vaguely remember the one about Mc Ds but I'm struggling to remember it in detail. Sweaty Betty was another class track by them
  7. Top band WILF ! not come across one from them yet I don't like..... Can you remember the Macc Lads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTfZCg6zj9M I saw the Macc Lads at the Astoria in Leeds years back. Totally mad gig, the place was a wreck by the end

    Nevermind

I never really got what all the fuss was about with Nirvana. They did record some truly brilliant songs but they recorded a lot of crap aswell. The Foo's are a class band but like's been said above, they're earlier albums were well above their later stuff.
  9. Right then, for what it's worth I've just put the plastic pop gun over the chrono and........ Ten shot string with 16 grain Logun Penetrators gave an average 541fps giving 10.4ft-lbs. 12fps variation high to low. Bottles fired around 50 pellets. 14deg ambiant temperature. That'll do
  10. Used to when I was a lad. I'd help my mates with the dogs and ferrets, and we'd sell head shot game to local butchers but that all passed years back
  11. you must be bored as XXXX Or pissed
  12. I totally agree with the above reply and TBH, I'd never read the OP and replys before. To say that Theoben's gas ram rifles have low recoil is total bollox. They've built up a very deserved reputation as scope breakers for a good reason.... They do!! Theoben's guns have a relatively small swept volume capacity of air compared to the 90 (same cylinder as the ) and so have to use a ram with a much higher pressure which combined with the fact that they are relatively light gives a fair old kick to the optics when they go pop.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXnLjYwF51E&feature=player_embedded I think the music's cool enough, but by feck, how fit is Jane Fonda in this promo clip??!!
  14. Nice one, Tony, glad to see you back and posting. It'll all work out, mate
  15. Make sure your browser's up to date, mate. There's a thread in the general talk section started by admin to say that THL works best on Firefox, so maybe give that a go
  16. Glad you enjoyed it!! I've had the thing for about five years now and I've never put it over the chrono, but I will tommorow and I'll post the results It normally just gets carted about when I'm helping out on the estate to knock over vermin. It's a lot lighter to carry about than the 90 or the 52 when I'm weighed down with bags of grain or whatever!! I only got it in the first place for this kind of work as it's so light and compact. You can just sling it over the shoulder and forget it's there until it's needed. Most of the shooting's in woodland where the ranges tend to be no more
  17. Yes, it's working fine now. Must've been the transmitter like you said. Tried again this morning and it's loaded them OK
  18. I used to have one of those in 6x44 and it's probably the best scope I've ever owned. I'd snap your hand off for that if I wasn't skint
  19. Thanks, Staffs. I'll sack it for tonight and try again in the morning.
  20. Yeah, them and Virgin do an automatic switchover but us poor buggers have to do it manually
  21. It's the built in Freeview in the telly, Scott. I'm certain I've followed the instructions correctly, but it keeps on saying no channels found and no signal. It's really got me stumped, mate Edit to ad.... It was working fine until about 10 past midnight, then it just went off, and it's still off
  22. Is anyone else having problems changing their telly over? I've a Samsung something-or-other that's fairly new and I'm buggered if I can get the feckin' thing to retune for the new signal I've followed all the instructions, but it's just not having any of it!!
