    If you can, get the MOT done a couple of weeks before it's due by an MOT only station, they've nothing to gain by trying to get extra work out of you, then source any parts yourself and any work you can't do yourself, a local mechanic will. I'm lucky, one of my best mates is a tester so I get sympathetic treatment.....

    After they closed their UK factory down and sacked all the workers and moved production of HP to Holland, I won't touch the stuff. Remember what HP stands for. Daddies all the way for me!! LOL

    Tonight's the first time for a while that I've been on THL for any length of time on a PC and after playing about with it for a while ( the site, not myself..) I think it's better than before. Looks well, easy to navigate and for a techno feckwit like me, easier to use As from tommorow though, I'll be back using my phone for the most part, so I'm looking forward to the last small issues being sorted

    On a PC I prefer the look of the new version, but it needs a tweak to work properly with my phone. Good, bad or indifferent, fair play to Ian for putting the effort in.

    As above, peanut butter works well also the fat and crap that collects at the bottom of the grill pan works well too.

    It's all working well on my iphone except I still can't post new topics. It keeps showing an error page that repeats 'can't process header changes'. Nice to see admin keeping things fresh and up to date. I saw it today on a mate's PC and I think it looks really good. Nicely done!!

    Have you tried PMing IanB, Wurz? There's been a lot of comments about problems in the general talk forum. I'm having a few problems with my iphone since the changes, I can't post new topics for a start :-/

    Padgetts in Batley have got loads of old bikes still in crates from back then and earlier, Jasp. Mainly Yamahas and Suzukis but the odd Honda too. I did a stock take for them in the mid 90s and there were old TZs, RDs, various Gammas including a Mk9 same as Sheen rode. A CBX 1000 and even a GL 1000 and one of the original CB 750s, all unused. They had about 6 or so FZR 750s that were a stop gap bike before the OWO1, all still in their crates... It was like working in a museum!! LOL

    I know a lad who got a refund from a Tom. A few years back a group of us went on a stag do to Amsterdam. After a few beers we went for a wander to have a gander at the nice young ladies in the windows. One of the guys who was a bit worst for wear made his choice and went in while the rest if us waited outside. He came back out quite quickly looking rather sheepish. Turned out he'd paid up front for the full mashing but got rather over excited during starters and blew before the main course so the girl gave him some money back. Class!! LOL
