A honest review of the .25 calibre in sub 12 standard
andyfr1968 replied to zini's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Simon and me were talking the other day about the possibility of fitting a .25 barrel to his FAC but I didn't think one was available for it. Do you know who supplies the barrels, Si? Anchutz, Walther or HW's own...? Cheers. -
Classic!! Get them out picking cockles next time

help wanted on best zero range
andyfr1968 replied to dogvixen01's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
It's the distance between the centre line of the barrel and the centre line of the scope, Tony. -
I was at a salvage yard near Birmingham picking up a motor bike, went into the office to sort out the paperwork and the woman behind the counter was babbleing on about planes attacking New York. She wasn't making much sense. I thought she was mad, pissed or on something. There wasn't a radio in the van, so by the time I'd got home to Leeds that evening it had all happened. I remember walking into the house and the ex wife had the telly on, she was in tears. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it just felt unreal. RIP to all the innocent folks who died that day. And burn in hell to th

moving the hunting photo comp to general?
andyfr1968 replied to gurtwurz's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Sounds good to me, Wurz I think Markha's got it pretty much spot on, it'll make folks think more about which photos they post thereby improving the overall quality. The bottom line is to hopefully produce a calander that's going to raise cash for a very worthy cause and the more people who know about it and post up pics the better. -
yeah i think it would be haunting me for the rest of my days and it was his son that's a million times worse yea if i didnt take my own life, the guilt and nightmares would soon put in an early grave, either that or all the alcohol i would consume. It's really quite upset me seeing that clip. I take my two boys out shooting with me often and they bloody well do exactly what they're told but trying to put myself in that dad's situation makes me shudder. They bloke's made a feckin' stupid basic mistake and killed his little lad. It can't get much worse than that. this was not

Crosman Ratcatcher 2250B - Barrel Needed ASAP!!
andyfr1968 replied to isa hunt's topic in General Airgun Discussion
You'd have a job bending the barrel on one of those, the clamping band would break before the barrel gave up the ghost. If you do need a new one, try here..... http://www.trobb.f9.co.uk/ -

It is but they didn't have the kit to arm any planes for combat. Andrews is kind of a great big holding area for the aircraft as much as anything else, it's not a combat ready base.

....So are we to believe the most powerful force in the military world couldnt have got an armed plane up in the capital of its own country in an extreme situation......similarly are we to believe somewhere as important as the pentagon had no cctv cameras in the vicinity............. I dont buy the conspiracy stuff myself but theres certainly some things that dont add up. Why would they, Gnasher? The very last thing they'd expect is an air attack on the mainland. The only combat ready planes that are on the U.S. mainland are in the military training areas like the Nevada desert and Ala

They did have fighters in the area, Scot, but nothing that was combat ready.

ive always said the same thing john, and tbh i dont think anyone would blame them really,if they just admitted they shot it down,it was a tough day,and even a tougher decision to shoot the plane down.lets face it,no matter what, those people on that plane were gonna die.and if it saved a lot more dying on the ground shooting it down. Then im sure the people on that plane would have chose that. The Yanks had nothing to shoot them down with at the time, lads, They'd no armed planes anywhere near the area but there was talk of them trying to litterally crash fighters into any planes if really

Jesus!! Just goes to show what was drilled into since I was a lad. NEVER SHOOT AT ANYTHING IF YOU'RE NOT 100% SURE WHAT IT IS!!!! Tragic waste of life and torment for the family. Very sad.

It is mate, big time. Some egos looking for votes at the expense of the folks who really do deserve remembering and respect. Money rules once again.

is that what they said there no room for them and thats the thanks you get, goverment scum My friend's bro worked in a law firm, he was one of the many unlucky souls, but it's been said (as above) that the real heros of the day are to be excluded from the 10th anniversary rememberance. It's a feckin' disgrace

Someone I know lost a brother when tower 2 came down. The paragraph below is something that's doing the rounds on Facebook, but I think it's kind of relevant on here too.... SO SAD!!!!!: New York City Policemen & Firefighters are "NOT INVITED" to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. The Mayor claims "there isn't room for them".... Funnily enough, they weren't "invited" on that fateful day in 2001 either.... THEY JUST SHOWED UP AND DID THEIR JOB! re-post if they deserve to be there *more than* the politicians! Shame on them
