    Pretty much any half decent mount will do you fine on a 90, mate. I've used everything from expensive one piece to cheapo two piece ebay Chineese rubbish on mine with no creep problems ever. The 90 has a very sweet firing cycle for a springer, low recoil and virtually no vibration give scopes and mounts an easy time on them

    If it's for site work you wouldn't get away with that even if you could (which I don't know), they'd have to be PAC tested and no sparky would put their name to that.

    Years back before the fur farming ban a bunch of these clueless tits broke into a mink farm a few miles upstream from the estate where I worked and within weeks the mink had decimated pretty much everything for miles in either direction. Stupid c**ts was this near huddersfield about 15 years ago? i worked on a farm when some mink got released and they ended up killing the farm cats.. the mink died and the tits what relised probably caused them to have a move painful death by doing what they did..     Nothing wrong with you choice of kit, mate Springers always sound a lot louder to the shooter than they do down range, all the mechanical noise from the action is being sent straight through the stock to your cheekbone, so it gets exagerated. Get a mate to fire it with yourself standing in a safe place down range, and you'll really notice the difference. HWs sometimes are a little 'twangy' when new, give it a tin or so of pellets and it should settle down a bit, but I've noticed on a couple of fairly new ones I've worked on recently that they're not exactly very well lubed at the fact

    Shepp's right about the 97 and 77. Under the skin they're the same gun The 57's totally different, Mike, and it's not the same high quality as the other two. It is a good bit less expensive but if you shot them side by side you'd know why. Still a very nice springer in it's own right though.
