Sounds lovely. I was out a few weeks back with a couple of friends when we saw Eagles fly past which are pretty much unheard of around our parts of Yorkshire. I really wish I'd had my camera with me then....

That makes sense. It's just that someone told me that smart phone's are popular with scammers because they are hard to trace. Some toad tried to scam me not so long ago on ebay and all comunication from them was via an iPhone.

The F104 was a right donkey. Lockheed only got the export deals they did by giving back handers to corrupt officials, even the Yanks never used it as a front line plane. Only NASA took a few on for research. The Lightning and its cancelled replacement the TSR2 would have been a huge UK success had it not been for the US. They bludgened the RAF into taking the F4 and F111 instead. Just like they did with most other NATO countries at the time....

Magnificent aircraft from the days before the Great part in Great Britan was a bit of a joke... Isn't there a charity that's trying to raise funding to get one flying again? I'm sure I read about them somewhere and they'd been knocked back by the Lottery for cash. I saw them at airshows when I was a lad. Those and the Lightning made a big impression on me at the time!!

As above, HW40 all day long. Built to last, easy to cock and quite light. The 45's a big lump by any standards, proper quality but a bit much for a nine year old.
