    SS always seems to provoke a wide range of reactions from folks. I've never met the bloke in person, but I've had dealings with him on here and I've spoken to him a few times on the phone. To me he's been spot on and has gone out of his way to help me out with a few things. Business wise, I'll add. There's always at least two sides to personal matters and I don't feel that a public forum is a good place for folks to sling mud. Just my opinion....

    Mike, the law may be on their side in principal but If plod don't know who to go after, they've not got much to go on have they? I honestly am staggered that these twats aren't spending some quality time recovering in wheelchairs by now. The amount of folks who've been scamed by them and who have a point of contact keeps on going up and yet they're still walking about with knee caps intact. Pathetic, IMHO....

    As said above, I'm staggered that no one's been round to pay these clowns a friendly visit. It's obvious they've ripped a lot of folks off who know where they are and yet nobody's paid them a call. FFS, somebody please grow a set, these twats clearly aren't bothered by the courts so the options of recourse are getting limited, don't you think?

    Aaron, such filth, I'm shocked!!! LOL! It's been quite a few years since I've indulged and I've been single now for eighteen months and I honestly can't be arsed with any of them anymore. I pulled (got pulled...) last Saturday after a local music festival, ended up at some birds house, did her bent over the kitchen sink then her 18 year old daughter came screaming in and a major domestic ensued. Feckin' nightmare!!! It just underlined my resolve that they're all mad and I can't be arsed, and yes Aaron, I know you'd have sugested a threesome... LOL!

    There's nothing wrong or shameful to indulge in the occasional "posh third party wank" IMO. I've done it before when I've been single. It is the oldest profession after all and I do admire professionalism.

    Ten's plenty good enough so long as the shots hit the right spot. My .20 HW90 shoots best with H and N Baracudas and FTTs. The Baras leave the gun at 9.75 and the FTTs at 11.4. They both do the job equally well so long as I do my bit.

    Ten ish is fine, Deano, so long as the gun's accurate. Check it again after the first 500 or so shots because it can take a good while for a re built springer to fully settle down. Cheers.

    Thanks, Ian, I see what you mean but it's just when I view a new thread using this format, it takes me to the last page which is a pain when it's a thread that's a few pages long. I'm looking forward to seeing the proper version when Virgin get my Internet fixed!! LOL

    I'm using an old iPhone on the edge network and it seems to run and load a little quicker than before. I'd like to have the page counter back as each time I view a new thread it takes me to the last page and I have to go back one page at a time to get to the begining, which is a bit of a pain. Nice one, Ian, for keeping it fresh and for putting the time and effort in.

    What the shooter hears and what the quarry hears are two very different things. If you've a mate with a moderated springer, stand down range from him in a safe place and get them to shoot a few shots with the mod fitted. Then do the same with the mod off and you'll really notice the difference.

    They'll all do the job but I'd steer clear of .25 if you want sub 12. There's been endless debate as to which is best. I prefer the smaller caliber's but many prefer .22. There's no right answer really, mate.

    Bugger.... Something's gone tits up then. If you're ok with a bit of DIY you can remove the stock and manually release the trigger sear and check the trigger mech yourself, but if you're not confident take it to a gun smith. You really don't want to be messing with triggers unless you really know what you're doing. Good luck with it, Chris.

    Try pulling the cocking lever back as far as it will possibly go to reset the mechanism. That may well do the trick.
