  1. Cheers pal. I put a lot of time into them. You need to with pures i think. Hard to get them over here and as i like them a lot, i made my own. Mother is actually an import, she was a good bitch, she was on here a while back. very nice them, and good price for a ped dog that, that will be healthy and long lived , not like lot ped dogs today bred just for looks or macho crap .!
  2. +2 , very nice , should have plenty of pace/wind for most stuff
  3. a 1/4 plenty in any lurcher x, you still get brain, but that bit extra bit of speed always come in handy , and you dont get that manic/ sensitive temp, like you do with dogs with 1xs , thats what i found, if i ever wanted a colliex again it would be a 1/4 collie x running dog..!!
  4. true , had me 1st fox on a golf course with my dog when i 1st started out 30 years ago, they were few rabbits on the fields next to the golf course so you get few runs with in that area . But most green keepers didnt like dogs on the ground, in case dogs done damage to the ground, you was sound if you had a gun , but i had bit of sport out of them with me dog .lol
  5. nice strong dog that, i like drop of wheaten in a lurcher , it put bit of grit in the x , its a x i deff look in to in the future if i had another lurcher . see if you never put me in the boot of my car and tipped a pint on me that time Ray,id of gave you a pup for free haha atb At Ha Ha true lol, next time we meet i keep away from cars lol , your dog looks spot on, never had one with wheaten in the x, but heard only good things from this x, maybe as said one future when i am down to 1 dog , when the old fecker bryn kicks the bucket lol.
  6. very true Ken , my old man always used to say the same , get the mind right and a man or woman can face anything , apart from a 8ft great white , rather face a ghost any day than them teeth of death .
  7. nice strong dog that, i like drop of wheaten in a lurcher , it put bit of grit in the x , its a x i deff look in to in the future if i had another lurcher .
  8. you are right , the kelpie gene is strong , i had a 1x kelpie x collie x grey, and it was differnt to my straight collie x greys that ive had and still got, it mind set was different more head strong . . From a lurcher owner perspective , if i learned anything in the 30 years with lurchers, you deff (dont) need alot of herding blood in a lurcher a 1/4 more than enough , feck me how clever as a lurcher got to be to catch a rabbit lol, any dog will learn to how to use its nose in the day ferreting if shown enough , and night time lamping the more they do the better get , what ever th
  9. true, to succeed at international level , you need ( skill, guts, confidence , ) and we only got at most 3-4 players at this level, the rest have(not) got it, we will always struggle , and when we have to play good quality side , we exposed even further .But we got there now to the world cup, which is great , but we will back home on the plane early once we meet a good side

No Buckshot I'm about 40 miles West now. I probably do but wouldn't know unless I saw his face, plenty of pigeons on that field always has been. You been out much? how Lab, these days you ever see him now ?
  11. +2, brill mate just out of interest why did you give him away in the 1st place, was the dog 7 did you say or have i read it wrong lol
  12. true, i try to say nothing to them and keep on walking, mind you Buck put me in few situations and had few ding dongs with the bunny huggers, last time he came down the track with dirty black feral tom cat in his mouth, these couple were behind me so they could see Buck with the cat, the woman started giving me the cruel so and so, i said he prob found it dead in the wood. i put it in hedgerow , the bloke ran over to it and said still bloody warm , i said yeh he just found it , it prob just died in there , feck'n Buck lol, say feck all mate best way .

same here mate, ive havent been on a plane for about 10 years , but never enjoy it. i have to get me mind right , same if i was having a OP etc, i am here now so just hope luck on my side that day . just get your mind in control , and blank out fear. when i was younger was shit scared of dentist , but got me mind right and think fook it , it will be over soon, just get your mind right for any situation
  16. prob some kind of artic fox, thats escaped from small holding , surprised it not been killed by other foxes . same as if pet birds of bright colours , is out side wild sparrows would try to kill it
  17. as your mate still got her?, and did it work out ok with sheep etc, .
  18. that does not surprise me , 4 and retreiver thats in my mind the breed, them and collies are nasty prats that are always ready to kick off with a dog , ok staffs, pits etc bull breeds are up for scrap , been around bullbreeds 40 years, so nothing new there lol. Funny thing i was talking to a bloke who used train RAF dogs and helped with picking pups for police work, so he knows all about working type dogs , he seen Buck couple years ago and liked him very much, he thought the x alsation x running dog was very good balance getting powerful fit, healthy type dog with nice temp. he
  19. that could work both ways ray if buck doesn't fight back mate a big old rottie or bulldog it could be you with the dead dog mate. Its a shame people who can't control their dogs hope you dont have anymore run ins pal. true that, it as crossed me mind that, the above type dogs , hope he it never gets to that, as i dont really know what he do if he was getting really hurt, i know he got hell of a bite on him though , from what he done in the field hunting . but you right mate a pit or rottie aren't dogs to upset .!
  20. The above dogs , ive had now 4 Labs go for my big dog Buck , this is in a year . Ok i know from beating my self over the years , most gun dogs Labs and Springers , have been well behaved on shoot days etc, so the owners have put alot good wok in them, and its payed off. these Labs ive bumped into are prob show stuff, but the last one to go for him was from working lines. They nasty b*****ds they gone right in to him, its only because he big strong dog , he seems push them off him, he dont want trouble he moves away from them couple yards and kees out of there way. But i am gett
