    If British born bred folk have the money to go live in France,Spain etc then they got the money to get all the jabs,meds a dog needs to live out there and travel back when needed . the same gos for them coming to the uk !!!! if folk can not afford to pay for dogs jabs ,stickers for car etc then they shouldn't be thinking about entering another country . no one should be able to move to another country unless they can prove they have anufe money to live on .with out taken someone's jobs etc we wouldn't have 5 million Eastern block citizens taking uk jobs,houses,schools,hosp

    I see a few run in Spain couple yrs ago ,not my kind of juckel mate ,don't get me wrong they run some harsh land over there and must have good feet stamina ,but so should any lurcher worth feeding . i stick with my bedy x . mooch

    Yes that's what I thout ,but I called my usual vet and they want to see each dog befor giving this wormer. you can buy spot on and panucur I think it's called but I'm not putting spot on any of my dogs again ,my whippet x came out with a rash but looked like a burn all down is back because of the stuff ,bedy grey looked sour as well . my whippet x started to cough around two yr ago ,the vet said it was k cough and it kept coming back to point we thout we was loosing him he looked that bad ,the vet did lung wash etc and still said k cough and they gave antibiotics and they did not

    Any one know if you can get lung worm meds with out going vets and charged £30 quid to see each dog then hammerd again for meds. aint so bad just £30 and then tabs but I got 3 lurchers .so it's well over £100 for them .vets take the mick . i don't like spot ons as my dog comes out with bad rash . please pm me if you can get milbamax . thanks

    We are thinking about a long term rent in rural Spain with idea on buying some land to build on ,but it be a static at first .maybe start a horse drawn holiday letting im also considering living in a bow top vardo and traveling France,Spain . why not be a foreigner ,I feel like one already in town I live .

    Few lads that come on here have jb bred dogs ,go to the Norfolk lurcher wright ups coupl pages back . i know a lad who runs two and they ticking all the boxes . No matter what folk say about him ,he's far from stupid and he ain't a bad person ,a bit eccentric maybe . he used to do a bit of coursing with my uncul in the 70s . if I was looking for a collie bred dog I think I would get one from this line . are you getting a pup ? atb

    I remember speaking to a fella who had a dog called "laddie" he defo had fox hound in him and he took hares a plenty , a lot of match dogs had him in the breeding . think he came from Notts way .

    I'll be getting a couple pair for start of season ,better than having a dog on bench ,I used to wrap the dew claws on my whippet x as he forever riping the nail off .

    It's a great way to live penny ,I spent few yrs on a 55 ft David piper n boat .wish I never left it . what type you got if you don't mind me asking ? Are you going to travel the water ways or stay on a marina and travel in spring summer . plenty places to see and dogs will have some fun ,god I miss the sound of that old lister going pop pop pop . if I could talk the other half into it we be on one now . good luck and enjoy !!!

    Just lead walk him until it's healed,I had same thing with my young bitch ,if your dog runs it's going to just keep splitting,,walking will be ok and it should heal up fine As long as you don't run the dog to early . keep the cut clean ,i bath her feet in salt water and cream on the split . hope you get it sorted , mooch if it's happening all the time then you still letting dog run about of lead? It will never fix until you keep it on lead and rest and give time to heal .

    I remember Jeff brumel writing in edrd and calling Plummer and his comic reading gang a bunch of fools . it was ok as shooting news ,letter pages were entertaining and some good field men wrote about all things lurcher unlike today .

    Yes he bull shitted a lot ,but he done well out of it ! i take everything I hear with pinch of salt when it's about dogs etc no matter who it is until I see it myself.

    I don't know the fella ,it's always a sad day when we loose a friend we have had so much "life" with . got a whippet x here who's been like my shadow for 7 great yrs but sadly he's got a lung problem that don't look to be fixable . im dreading the day we take our last walk . until then he as a warm bed good feed and lots of love .and when he gos ,I will know he had a life he loved "working ".

    I don't get Cmw anymore because it's the same old crap they write about ,they cater for the shooting brigade and the hunts . and iv read a few articles about coursing in Cmw that only puts coursing folk in a bad light . jeremy Hobson wrote a peace that called all coursing folk low life criminals !!!who have no right being in the countryside .!! he shouldn't be allowed to write for Cmw with damaging write ups like that one .promoting hunting with hounds and shooting is all they are interested in . skycat did respond to that article and quite rightly said they is good and bad
