Yeah, because very few people have a need for it! What is your problem, I'm not in the business of making up tales or breaking the law, or justifying myself to you or anyone else! If you have nothing constructive to add you are welcome to go away!

It was a simple question that didn't need a lecture, how do you know its NOT suitable when you don't have a clue what he wants to do with it! if it upsets you that much let me tell you he does specialist work on water, primarily with waterfowl, at close range and commonly in built up sensitive areas, he has looked high and low for ammo and been told his best bet is to see if someone can load for him, he asked if I could help with any info/advice. If you seriously think I would risk my position with something dodgy you are nuts!

The barrel, action and even bolt are commonly the same serial number. Of course there are always reasons why this can change, the SAKO Quad is an obvious example. The CZ 455 also has barrel options etc., etc. FAC is a pain, and some of the rules seem daft, but you can have what it says on your FAC, or simply apply for a variation!

It was always going to happen pretty quickly, and I suspect a few more will follow. I don't deny I'm curious to see what the offspring looks like!

There may be some local By-Law about 2 fields (however far that might be) but its news to me and no such LAW exists to my knowledge

Chucked it down almost all day here Sun!

Met police chief locked himself inside car while officer was stabbed

The timing of his instruction from a PC seems to alter in his words, the inquest and the media...... rather convenient! -
Good luck whatever, took me months to decide what to get, then settled for something simple!

Myxomatosis has not transferred to any other animal in 60 years+ of its existence in this country. A variation/mutation on the theme by the looks of things, Myxomatosis in ANY other animal is pretty dramatic and worrying!

Just bought a Galaxy Grand Prime Pro Android, relatively speaking cheap as chips, does all and more that I want. 'I' phones may be the way, but nothing stands still, my last was an android and development being what it is, everything is out of date tomorrow. The VAST majority of people use 5-20% of what their mobiles is capable of, you'll not catch me standing outside the phone shop to spend £1000++++++ on the latest phone technology I DONT NEED!

Anything you like except a JLR product!
-
A lot of the old JSR/Leapers/etc., scopes with turrets like that need an Allen key to slacken before lifting and adjusting, if that is just pull/push sounds good!
-
Do the turrets need an allen key to adjust, that's a deal breaker for me, been there before!? Scopes look like a cross between the old Howke Varmint and JSR, but then again, what can you do with a scope? Price seems keen. I like mil-dot (there on ALL my scopes) and I'm steadily updated all to side wheel. .

Certainly looks the part, and that money seems very good, a longer term report always useful!
-
Plenty of choice up to £1000, but if you are not pushing silly distances some of the Hawke at less than half that price work fine. Bushnell and Leupold worth a look. Simple fact is there are too many, people will have their favourites (usually what they have) but that may not be YOUR favourite. I would start by thinking about reticle, Objective and tube size, side focus or front, magnification range and then input all those figures and see what comes out in your price range!

Nope, only ever done one job for them about 5 years ago!

Someone needs to check their fences!
-
I think they do 2 barrel lengths so you may have seen the short! Only .22LR and HMR at the moment I think, no WMR!
-
Not used one, actually not even seen one yet, but I have every expectation, it being a Tikka, it will be pretty reasonable. Starting price is still £100-£150 ABOVE CZ and I'll bet it will be no more reliable, no more accurate and no more repeatable, so it will have an uphill job to establish itself. I have no doubt it may be well made, use half decent wood/plastic, and some may suggest it looks better, but I'll be amazed if it performs any better. Some may well be prepared to pay the extra for aesthetics and why not, but my CZ's do the job just fine, they lack NOTHING for me

Good stuff!

I'm far from and expert but do indulge in a few, something special, and tasty, when you find/pick you own! I have my trusty Edible Mushroom guide with some reasonable pictures, what still concerns me is how many good eaters look so similar to others that will make you ill/kill you. I'd go along with Arry on the Shaggy Ink Cap, after that I'd rather not guess! Good luck, be careful!

Unfortunately that is far to true to be funny!

What sort of distances can/do you take the pigeons with the 100KT? Is it 12ft lb? Good hide!

Thank heavens, I thought it was just me who did that!
