  1. But the farmers union is promoting stay in. So is the Labour Party... but labour voters in their millions will vote out So is the Conservative party ...but millions of their voters will vote out Lets all of us, the 1s that really matter promote OUT...OUT...OUT There is a ground swell of OUT, but apathy may be the deciding factor........ .....if you want OUT then keep promoting OUT, and make every vote count!

    Mud Plugging.

Certainly an unfortunate name, and I don't want to be a member of any club Elton John frequents!
  3. I worked with Elton John way back in 77, his inclinations and attitude were well known to everyone even then!
  4. Not sure about a 10/22 copy, it's a Mossberg 702 really. It works straight from the box and is primarily designed to be used with the iron sights it has, hence the comb drop. That was my intention, but unfortunately with the state of my eyes I found I could either see the sights OR the target, unfortunately not both together, so a scope had to be fitted. It is indeed incredibly light, and incredibly accurate, I was always a fan of Magtech subs in my CZ's and these also worked a treat in the 7022. The price has gone silly on the Magtech ammo now so, its Winchester or RWS generally th
  5. Ronnie seems to be up to his old tricks, so perhaps his head isn't in the right place!
  6. Someone has their wires crossed.
  7. The Sako Varmint has a wooden stock, thought that's what you were comparing the CZ to! The Sako Hunter also has a wooden stock and is indeed a chunk lighter than the CZ Varmint! That's why I have the American or Silhouette versions, no desire/use/need for any Varmint rifle weight for field work personally! edit, bottom one is a Magtech 7022!
  8. What am I missing Graham? The Sako Varmint (P94) lists as 3.3kg, the 452 Varmint as 3.2kg, 21" barrel and the 455 Varmint 3.2kg 21", and 3.0kg 16" That makes the CZ lighter from what I can see. CZ also offer several lighter models if weight is a problem!
  9. If only you were a bit closer.....................if only the stock was a nice light beech...................... if only it was a .177! Good on you, lets hope it finds a good home!
  10. They can be frustrating sometimes, but that's a long shot for a baited fox. Was the site tricky, I can usually get them much closer than that when baiting! Cheers
  11. Good session, and as I've said before, those Muntjac eat well!
  12. BASC covers a lot and gives a level of backup. I have found BASC useful in various matters over the years.
  13. "I was zeroed to 15, 25, 35 yards on the mil dot Hawke Nite Eye 6.5 - 20 x 50 AO IR," Magnification and distance always fascinate me, what mag do you use generally, obviously its 6.5 or more even at 15 yards? Cheers
  14. You could start by checking they are tight, regardless of the quality they should stay put. If this fails, as already said, replace them!
  15. Never had the need to try this but I've heard it. Whatever, the trick is to potentially train the fox with bits of bait and then nail him as appropriate.
  16. Anything you try and do legally will cost a fortune and not work, anything you do illegally will result in the police arresting you. Something wrong with our society!
  17. I think that is absolutely right!
  18. Baikal are tuff as old boots, but I can't make a suggestion about steel through them. I believe York guns are/were the UK importers, so perhaps a word with them may help.
  19. Of course it matters which way you vote. I have little time for any politician of any party, but I would like to think our voting system is reasonably honest. If the vote is OUT then Cameron will have to take us out. So make sure you vote...OUT, because apathy is the only thing likely to keep us in!

Let me know when, I'd love to watch (from a safe distance)!

Not a chance you would get me in that kayak
  22. Impressive looking, but I think I may need the odd lesson in how to set it!
  23. Cheers walshie, I've had no response from Stormkloth and no luck tracking them down anywhere. So, for £8 these must be worth a punt...I hope, because I've just ordered a pair, but the hunt continues for some stormkloth gloves! Cheers Just arrived. They are certainly cheap, and don't look like they are going to be very warm or waterproof, but on first inspection I'd say they were worth the punt. Cheers PS I still have no reply from Stormkloth and no idea where I can get some, so the search goes on!
  24. Oh right, so that makes it ok then does it? I have a licence and I do it legally, like I said, you broke the law and you cost me and other tax payers a load of money, and that ****** me off. Breaking the law because its a bit inconvenient for you, and some land owners may say no is tuff, that's what the rest of us have to do. The Environment Agency licence/tags costs nothing, the licence is in place to protect our native crayfish, and asking permission is nothing new. Strikes me you have no regard for conservation, the law or landowners. Call me what you like, you are the inco
