I watched the crufts hound group just gone, most of the runners were weird freaky things you wouldn't have given. Sure the two I've mentioned used to be more saluki like, maybe not??
The flyball dogs are better mind, lots of non ped whippet types
Just thought about it. As a kid I'd see sloughis and azawakhs in the saluki books/mags and they always got my attention, the same as smooth desert bred salukis. My mother is the same with pharaoh hounds..
Can't comment on your bitch, but going off their food whilst in season is definitely a thing, mine does it. Also seen dogs do it when a nearby bitch is ready??
It's "tail" is it's front right leg as the animal reaches back to lick/scratch it's rear. Can't see a dead sheep, just the black thing sitting amongst sheep ??
Just a different take on it, I prefer to stand where you think the rabbit will head and slip the dog, that way the dog will get more chances and hopefully you won't just end up lighting up the rabbits path home ??
They do though, my boss recently lost his collie at 16, fed nothing but wagg and later Tesco's complete. Not arguing just saying, plenty farmers do similar ??
Lab X collies have been mentioned on a couple of threads lately, was some real useful ones about, used for all sorts.
Since people stopped letting dogs roam, you don't see them though
Been plenty of talk about them on here in the past.
A Scottish saluki fella who was on here had a tazi bitch and tazi/salukis, think other members might of got a pup or two?
You don't seem to know the difference between castration and a vasectomy, I did try and explain ??
Your horse was castrated... A castrated ferret won't bring jills out of season....
It would be extremely cruel and painful, and might or might not "neuter" him??
A "vasectomised" hob mates with the Jill's as normal and brings them out of season, which is what the thread is about
