  3. In one of those books, sure it's a brindle. What folk get out of that sort of thing I'll never know ???
  4. There's a pic of another dog stood with those same hares.....?
  5. Sound like what's sold as lure coursing slips these days
  6. That Dutch Salmon said he'd seen the saluki take Texas whitetail unaided ??
  7. Bullfinches are very rare round here, where you'd expect to see them. More chance of seeing them on a litter filled bit next to Tesco's ??
  8. Greenfinches are still a fairly regular visitor to the feeders etc, but not many about, that fat finch has reduced the numbers
  9. Loads on eBay. Or if you have some cord make some, I copied Moucher Outdoors on YouTube, dead easy
  10. Both, it's just a few highlights of Stars life and what he eats on the day. Didn't think much of it, not being disrespectful. Had Terence Clarks book and Rosemary Lewis's little booklet since, which were much better

  16. I've had two young Jill's in and out of their first season already, natural light. Never known it before ??
  17. Were you not telling MC and Fens how to run their dogs?? and saying they'd been ghosted?? was even a pic of a bog skimming rabbit ? this thread was going to be showing them how to do it wasn't it ??
  18. It's Captain Raymond Goslett, M.C., with Musa and Snorter? You were asking about Sloughis, on one of the chalky dvds they are on a site, and there is a load of Sloughi crosses in kennels. Any body seen them work or know owt about them?
  19. Don't know about tight circles. And don't know about setting them back, the lurcher blood has made them better/better suited, ain't it
  20. Any land you want, lamp, ferret, blah blah blah, but a lurcher bred for the job is going to be better in most cases, isn't it The early Kizzy Pharaoh dogs were the quickest sharpest( including temperaments ??) imo
  21. It is, and you were asking the same thing at the start. If salukis were the answer everybody would have them. Folk keep them because they like them. Just a different take on a lurcher to some, and totally unsuitable for most
